Yikes! You're probably gonna "bleach" those babies. If you can't raise the light maybe it's time for a new grow cabinet? If the main branch is flexible enough you could bend them over using string/twist-ties/rubber bands, but this will probably result in an extended flowering time since you'll basically be LSTing them and all sorts of funny things will start to happen to your lower buds. Good Luck and watch out for tigers in that jungle you got growing there Xoshua :).

Hehe tell me about it. I grew the two tallest ones too much in veg... they are now on the side of the light instead of right underneath touching. The cab is nearly 6 ft tall, minus the electrical part at top. the calmagic is suppose to help burnt tips, bleaching and led issues. That's why calmag stuff is needed with leds I was told. No bleaching yet and she's doing decent, ill post more pics soon.

Hey if they don't get messed up more power to you . I've got one strain, a Super Lemon Haze pheno, that if I get it within 6 inches of my panels, the next day it looks like it has a boron deficiency if you know what that looks like. Meanwhile I've got a Magic Bud plant that you can press up against the panels and it will just ask for more. Both of those plants use the same mix, which I add Lime to, plus I feed my soil beasties molasses early on, lots of Cal/Mag in that stuff but it takes a while for it to be broken down for the plant to use, so it's always been more strain dependent to me whether a plant bleaches or not under LEDs than just Cal/Mag supplementing. But that's just my $.02.

I hate periods too no worries lol. Thank you for the response. Funny you mention the led and cal mag. I just saw someone ask why led require cal mag. Ill pop into it after. Yea I was really thinking about adding cfls somewhere... I have 2 extension bars I used for plugging in my veg grow lights (they were 200+ actual watts). So do I lst? Do I add the power strips with cfl somewhere? Any other suggestions?

Well I have 6500k lights and 2700k cfl lights ready. I'm just trying to decide how to add them in. There's a lot of empty space in middle below cannopy, there is also the sides I could add the light. Or I could skip my cfls and add t5's to each corner like I've seen others do. Only problem is there's not so much room so id have to use only one wall if I do go with cfls. I wish I could put a verticle light like people do with hps and mh hanging in the middle where there's space. Also I need to buy a light mover for my blackstar.

Hmm I think I may need a bigger power strip than. Using a 4/5 star rating one. I can't even find a 5 star maybe I should invest in those power outlets advertised in grow mags. Where's best spot to buy t5s and t5 accessories in canada? I see them in home depot but is it better ordering online? Also random question for the subs: which degree/ diploma/ career is the ultimate to study for that would benefit medical marujana growing? Electrician? Light expert (not sure on technical name)? Botamis (spelling wrong, the plant science)? Or another?

most of the places i know only ship via US id go with amazon or ebay but get a reputable ballast not a cheap one, and the ones at homedepot i think are not high output they are just regular T5

So if you were in my shoes, after getting t5's in the corner what should I upgrade next? I've heard of people being able to grow half a pound from the same space I'm using... even with cfls and led. Sounds crazy. Ill prob get an o off each plant if I'm lucky. Lol.

everyone always says they can get a half pound or heard but wheres the actual proof, id upgrade to a tent and use the cab your using right no for a veg for seedling and clone, there is so many possibilities, do you have more space to put a tent or cab? how much money do you have to play wiht?

I can spend 500 CAD to spend. I've got an inline fan 4" (green one) that hasn't been used. I've got to get a light adjuster for my led, some space. I have room for another tent or so.

light adjuster is just a waste of money when you can go grab some cheap chain to use, and if you have a space for a tent,

grab:

3' x 3' tent (make sure the tent has 4" holes for the hose
4" carbon scrubber
2 - 4" hoses
2' 4 bulb t5

you said you have power strips and cfls so use that for a veg/ clone area with the power strips and cfls in your current cab and then your tent add the blackstar and the 4bulb t5 with the inline fan and carbon scrubber for a flower tent and you would be set bro

if i could do that id be super happy but i dont have the space at the moment, if you only have enough money to get
the tent the t5 fixture and one hose go for that you would still be happier than what your setup is right now trust me on that

then later on you could upgrade to an hps for flower and still keep the backstar in the flower tent and move your t5 to a veg/clone area

Argh so ill need to bite the bullet and get an hps. I knew this day would come... lol. The inline fan literally sounds like a jet engine. If I add the scubber do I need an adjustment control to power the power and noise? Ok so ill start looking for tents, hoses, t5 and such. So hmm... if I scrogged in my current cab with bs 240, would it be a better yield? Maybe veg less?

ok so on that a speed control on the fan would help the carbon scrubber would help and they also sell silencers for the fan but i have n experience with that i made my own and it worked but that was before i had the scrubber hooked up
