You have to be a state resident for 2 years before you could qualify for an MMC license so starting up right away even if you have funds isn't happening.
Im looking to moving to Col to get a job in something with marijuana. Im looking for a town or city that has many available marijuana opening jobs and something that is affordable.
the 2 year thing might just be denver city / county. it gets a little confusing when every municipality within the state has their own rules within the state's rules. but there is definitely a 2 year moratorium for opening a rec spot for anyone but current medical dispensary owners in denver.

If you wanna come here to make bank on weed good luck. Your not the first and won't be the last. 9 out of 10 will end up wishing they never moved. The only ones making real money are the state, dispensaries and grow equipment suppliers.
good luck trying to find a job as a bud tender. There are hundreds of people who already live here begging for those jobs. Also , as a private grower , you can't sell to a dispensary. They are not allowed to buy. Pot shops are required to grow their own. Paperwork tracking crop is required.
