Read a good one on another site - if you're ever in a place which has a range of magazines (dentist, doctors, office type place) you can take a photo of the address sticker and barcode then go to the magazine's website, enter the details and viola free online subscription. Doesn't work with all of them but many now have this feature.

You know, I'm not one to do anything illegal, or morally questionable, so will recommend getting a HD antenna and dropping cable. We pay $135 a month for 300 channels of shit. A HD antenna is about $30 and picks up about 30 HD channels fro free, and legal. That saves about $1300 a year. That will get you much further than your $8.

I don't pay for cable or internet and rent new releases for free at my library. I do a lot of things like that
I hate spending money I don't have too...and no I'm not broke
Though I've never done it illegally

Dude, if you like torrents. You'll love newsgroups. Max out your connection, no seeding, not as many fake or mistitled files. It's a game changer man, should look into it if you're using torrents a lot.
