Not true, since water was here

If you drink too much water, you will die. Same as any physically addictive drug.
The only incidents of this I am aware of are where people are in contests to see who can drink the most water the fastest.

Or perhaps where the person was unhealthy for other reasons.

A healthy normal person will not die from consumption of water based off of their own natural thirst.

Let me tell you about water.

  • Death due to accidental inhalation of water, even in small quantities.
  • Prolonged exposure to solid water causes severe tissue damage.
  • Excessive ingestion produces a number of unpleasant though not typically life-threatening side-effects.
  • water is a major component of acid rain.
  • Gaseous water can cause severe burns.
  • Contributes to soil erosion.
  • Leads to corrosion and oxidation of many metals.
  • Contamination of electrical systems often causes short-circuits.
  • Exposure decreases effectiveness of automobile brakes.
  • Found in biopsies of pre-cancerous tumors and lesions.
  • Given to vicious dogs involved in recent deadly attacks.
  • Often associated with killer cyclones in the U.S. Midwest and elsewhere, and in hurricanes including deadly storms in Florida, New Orleans and other areas of the southeastern U.S.
  • Thermal variations in water are a suspected contributor to the El Nino weather effect.

I support a ban on water, its a terrible thing.

Heroin is differently in our body chemistry. So is ganja.

How do think we ended up with receptors for it?

Water SUCKS. It is a main oxidant.

Still....I'm addicted. I can't live without it.

Same here, in fact I just dosed myself up with more than I actually needed and plan to seek it out in order to do it again. I know people that kill other people for water.

I just stream my old water down a toilet or on a tree.

One day on the Neil Bortz show he made the comment that the Atlanta municipal water supply had high levels of dihydrogen-oxide, (h2o, water).

Well a high ranking official of the Atlanta utility administration called in and protested.

"Atlanta water ain't got no dihydrogen-oxide! "

What a fool.

Of course it was so much more funny in the black accent of the caller.

....to a racist...

Dihydrogen Monoxide (DHMO) is the most commonly used solvent in the world.
