Half a scissors is a snizz. I keep four pair around for fine trimming. Dähle 50005's.

But my rough cutting scissors are two pair of 1991 East German export quality scissors given to me by Leo Welt (who Google informs me died in 2004, boo. Sorry Leo, you little gnome). They are the AK-47 of scissors. They just keep working with no maintainence at all.

I'm going to get you a pair of Dähle's. They are precision ground to a hyper pointiness by nazi prisoners in Spandau's basement. You can get in there and pop those petioles. I hate trimming but do an amazing job.
