are you growing in soil or hydro?

Soil. I did quite a bit of reading before taking that leap and in all of the reading I did I found a handfull of people who tried using molasses in thier hydro setups only to fing that it clogged the system or caused mold. I deffinately wouldnt recomend it for anything other than soil.

well its just one of those lines from walmart for the fish tanks. so im not quite sure. should i get bigger? idk if there are ne bigger tha what im using atleast that would fit my airpump

You don't own your threads or the forum, so don't act like you do and your personal space has been taken, because it hasn't. Something that you might want to think about is that different answers are generated by different questions, maybe his questions would generate an answer that is more suitable to you, your grow, and your question, than your original question. I have gotten my questions answered through other peoples questions on my thread, chill out man. For growing in soil I would recommend using a Catalyst that has molasses in it. That way when you follow the instructions you know its not getting too much or too little, and it has other things in it that is great for the flowering cycle. I haven't noticed that large of results from using it yet, but I just started when I actually have other ones Im not using it on to compare to.

you're right man, i shoulda been nicer, but both times he posted on my thread, had absolutly nothing and could of never resulted in my question answer'd, her persisted in asking his own.

There are hydro catalysts that have molasses in them that are not supposed to clog, they are a lil bit more pricey, but it might work for you...good luck!

That is why I asked---I do love molasses and it's results but in sucanat form.
Sucanat (a contraction of "Sugar Cane Natural") is non-refined cane sugar.[1] Unlike refined and processed white sugar, Sucanat retains its molasses content; it is essentially pure dried sugar cane juice. The juice is extracted by mechanical processes, heated and cooled at which point the small brown grainy crystals are formed.
Sucanat is generally accepted as a substitute for brown sugar.[2] Unlike regular brown sugar, sucanat is grainy instead of crystalline. Of all major sugars derived from sugar cane, Sucanat (not a "processed" sugar[3]) ranks the highest in nutritional value, containing a smaller proportion of sucrose than white cane sugar.[4] However, Sucanat (in common with all sugars) is not a significant source of any nutrient apart from carbohydrate.
Sucanat may be confused with Turbinado sugar, however; the two are fundamentally different. Turbinado sugar contains only a trace amount of its original molasses content, making it similar to refined sugar except with a golden color and a hint of molasses flavor. Sucanat, on the other hand, retains its full molasses content and flavor, thus making it, as stated above, pure dried cane juice. Its grainy form also contrasts with the clear, crystalline form of Turbinado.
