I'm guessing you used bottled nutes? Or did you do a Supersoil deal.

Is this well water or municipal water?

i use water and tea, that is why the ph thing keeps me on my feet fighting it,not a super soil jusat one that kelp4less and myself put together, super soil is what it is but in realty in my mind it does help until last of flowering days ,doesnt give nothing but problems till you get to that point, built basic soil and amended to get threw a whole grow with water and tea [i hope ,we will see] with great soil and microbes the soil life should carry threw.
yes it is city water from a aqufor or however you spell it,complete shit full of lime and who nos what else.
trying to figure out what i can put in it to stablize ph ,even lemon juice doesnt stabilize

Phosphoric acid to get it down. Potassium silicate to bring it up.

Um, not sure if you are being serious or not but OK.

In a perfect world you would like your plants to be getting Zero PPM in their water, correct?

Or, what would be the ideal ppm to put it another way?
from the hannah ppm chart goes as follow:
seedlings 100-250 ppm 0.2-0.5 ec
early veg 300-400 ppm 0.6-0.8 ec
full veg 450-700 ppm ec 0.9-1.4
early bloom 750-950 1.5-1.9 ec
full mature bloom 1000-1600 ppm 2.0-3.2 ec
these ppm and ec levels are claimed to be ideal for growing are favorite plant

soil doesn't require pH-ing the water. Sounds like you've got a good soil, but something would have been amiss. The microbes and plant determine the pH. Well documented

pH balancing wouldn't harm, though

You definitely should ph your sewage, I mean tap water.

I'm lucky, we have among the best water and cheapest electricity in the country. Now if we could just fix the politics.

BTW, for natural soil (no bottle feeding) your best best is rain water, unless it's polluted. Otherwise RO water is essentially the same as rain.

checked into the stuff you mentioned ,couldnt find any detail on after entering your water if it would effect soil food web,do you have any idea
@old shol4evr : have you tried H3AD's formula for Coco? i did coco in drain to waste for a grow or 2 and my res pH was stable for the whole week before I dumped it. it's based on the Lucas Formula. but you have to use RO water, not tap.

It's an enzyme product, I do not think it's will mess with an beneficial's in your soil. I would call the company and see if it is derived from any kind of salts (I really don't think it is, but double check anyways)

It does have a sticker shock to it. But a 1/2ml per gallon, like you said it goes a long way. It helps stabilize the ph of my well water for sure.
