Would you consider buying a VERO after reading through some of the posts?

What's a good one stop place for meanwell divers, veros, pico ezmate and a cob holder? If there is any.... I know about kingbrite but their min order is 5 veros and I'm only getting 2 for now, and they only offer the top drivers and I'm looking for the lower power ones, single driver per cob
I got my Veros from Digikey - they should also have the ezmates too (they come in several different lengths and guages, although I didn't use them, I soldered). I got my driver from Mouser since Digi doesn't have Meanwells for some reason. Not sure why you need a cob holder though, for Veros, since they have holes in them already you can use to screw them to the heatsink.
Edit: this doesn't really help you find a one stop shop, since I listed 2 places, but I couldn't find 1 place that had everything (someone really needs to open up a online shop for DIY Cob supplies!!!). The shipping was reasonable though, at both places.

The cob holders I want as I will probably put Angelina-xw reflectors later on. Anyone ever shopped at this website : http://www.trcelectronics.com
Ah, OK.Don't know much about reflectors. If you do add them, let me know what you went with/how you mounted them. I'm intrigued by the idea of adding some reflectors to my setup, but I'm not sure if it would be worth it in my small grow space.

@LeMrMagu

Jerry offers a fair deal via DHL with shipping costs (~40$).

@BigYellowCob

How small of a grow space?
It's a 36" wide x 18" deep cabinet with painted white walls, so most of the light will reflect off the walls and to the plants anyways. Reflectors might shorten the distance the light has to travel before being reflected. After putting some thought into it though, I think I'm better without reflectors, since if I have a plant that gets too tall I can train it to grow up along each side of the light, and the tops of the plant will still get some side scatter light from the cobs. If I have reflectors, the tops of those plants wouldn't get any light. I had that happen in my last grow with a stretchy Fire OG.

Time for a story.

One year ago I came across this website with the sole-intention of sharing my review of a given purple LED fixture, not knowing that this website, with its abundance of information and friendly community, would consume me and ultimately alter my life shortly after. Today marks my one-year anniversary with RIU, so cheers to all of those who played a part in my story here over the past twelve months - @SomeGuy @SupraSPL @mc130p @stardustsailor @Abiqua (love) @salmonetin @bicit @vitamin_green_inc @Greengenes707 @JimmyIndica @Positivity @captainmorgan @az2000 @robincnn @REALSTYLES @phil k @FrozenChozen @Sativied @Bad Karma @Eraserhead @PetFlora @Yodaweed @MrFlux @Mo! @thedawg @sunni @Socalrob @UKpeanuts @OneHitDone @Humanrob @puffenuff @a senile fungus

I've been doing a lot of research lately and attached is some of the more recent findings. In the spirit of science, cheers!

Did I read well!?...1 vero29 @2.8A over a 5x5 ft!?
It is interesting to see how the cob react at different height...it is even surprising...24 inches seem to be the better.choice for this configuration...!?
I'd love to see something similar with 1 cxb 3590 (cd!) over a 4x4 @ different mA...just curious!
Have a great day ★

Is anyone know how efficient are the V18 and V29 @350mA?!? (5000ºk)
And there's different 5000ºk 30e/30g wich one is the best?
Thanks
Have a great day ★

I am afraid to ask the same thing for V10 & V 13...it is going to be very low numbers...
That is why people's use them most of the time(from what I seen! ) in parallel I guess!
They must be run @175mA or less if it is possible...4 string of equal V on a 350mA driver of V13...?
I know the V of each string must match...is there a big difference between the cob?
Have a great day ★

Justa couple questions I hope you all could help with. I ordered 6 of the pico ezmate connectors for my 6 vero 18s. Now everyone here says they work great for multiple cob setups, but........... First according to their website hey have a 130V max and I would need to run 170-180V through the 6, second everyone says to get the 18 gauge but technically they are all 28 gauge at the chip and then connect to a larger wire an inch or so past the connector. SO first would I be fine running the 6 with the voltage I need and second I got the solid 28gauge ezmates, will I be fine running the whole thing with these or should I spend the time cutting them and connecting the 28gauge to 18 gauge, even though they will all just go back down to 28 at each chip?

Thanks for any and all help on this.

Current is what your worried about in small wires like that. I would check how much a 28 Awg wire is good for in A and if it's more then what your running then worry about the voltage. You should be fine but I would just buy the appropriate size ez mate and run that way. I mean your hanging a fire on a 2$piece. If peace of mind is what your looking for I suggest giving it a thought
