250 watt keep it simple ghetto grow - leftover seeds. COBs.

Middle of week 5.
I'm impressed with the size of week 5 bud from a plant in such a dilapidated state -> Purple Bud
Also little uns. The two in the back are Power Kush #1 and #2. Front is Mendocino Purple Kush and the new Brainstorm sprout. I already planned out how to set up the canopy under 250 watt. It's gonna look like this

PK#2 will be trained in a T shape similar to a grape vine with Brainstorm getting it's own little tent (which is skinless atm lol). It's going to be fun

Looking good mate. I see what you mean with the leaf discolouring. As you say though they are still looking very good for the issues you have had. The seedlings are really sprouting well. Well done

Thanks man. But they're doing the work not me; I just make sure the lights turns on and off and that they are well fed. The purpling is because of the low temps, the wilting and yellowing and ph burns is what I don't like

Looking great pal besides those leaves! Are you leaving the leaves on or pulling them? I've been away for a couple of days and a couple of tops have decided to grow close to the lamp, so a little burnt but only very slightly. No biggie.
I like the diagram mate, and I'm intrigued about the grape vine training technique!

Nope I never remove leaves. A lot of passion goes into growing these why would I remove em? I've noticed that if there's no need for them the plant gets shed of them. Plus if they get discoloured prematurely for no reason then I know something is wrong. I've never been able to see the point to defoliation but that's just me I guess.

I think I've shown you this before, mate, you top at 5-7th node and pull all the branches along one axis... similar to a vertical SCROG set up... then after two weeks take off the constraints let em do their thing and they create a rectangle-shaped canopy. Probably helps if topped twice <-- I'm gonna experiment with that.

The pic is the two expressions of Blue Kush. And see how happy the little Purple Buds are under the sunlight

Thought that may have been your answer, shouldn't have asked really.
Nope only ever saw the photo of her growing against the fence, you never went into detail.

Your thread is moving right along glad to see it all coming together hopefully tonight I can give it an in-depth reading but so far it's looking good
Thanks man. I really hope I can learn from your input

Everybody's got their style, you know... glad you know what I'm thinking and vice-versa haha. I pray you find no offence in anything I've written, friend
yeah there's no actual technique you just gotta play along with what the plant can do/wants to do :D

Not at all Grape, love your work and ideas. You have to do what you need to do in whatever type of grow you are doing! Although quite similar, my, yours and Mattys are completely different if you know what I mean?! We all have our techniques and use them to better our own situations.

Well put Stick. We all have our ways, but if we suggest different things that work for us individually we can all take bits from that and apply it so that it can work to our advantage. We need to stay in touch so we can help each other. I have taken info from you all and applied it. We learn all re time. Did that sound gay ????

Exactly mate! This is all about sharing information and experience, what may work for me might not work for you. From our conversations (me, you and Grape) i've took away some great knowledge and love speaking to you both, and hope you have learnt things from me as well!
And yeah mate, sounded proper gay but my response sounds a bit gay an all hahaha
Just kidding! Nowt wrong with manners and being helpful!
