Maybe you should check into gas, etc lanterns in you have the facilities to accomodate them. Maybe you can find something in the correct spectrum. We actually do use them but only for added co2 and they work great for power failures when the hps goes out.

If you plan to bud these plants sure you can veg at 15L/9d. I still don't understand how you plan to charge these batterys.Maybe you can rig a magneto onto an excercise bike Don't forget about inverters.

Yes you can, no gas light needed.

Yea you can veg 15/9 depending on the strain but it will prob be a sativa because some indicas are know to flower in 18/6 that's why I'm excited to test out some autos that I'm supposed to be ordering and I question why some seed banks say grow their autos 12/12 from seed this will force an6 plant to flower but most people don't realize that

Some plants will for instance the longest day of the year were I live is just over 13 hours so hypotheticaly the longest light I really need to give my plants 14 hours of light anything more is over kill although the plant may beniffit from more light that's the max length of day light they will receive from a natural environment where I live so it's all they get the best way to see how much light to give your plants is look up the length of daylight hours in your area at the spring equinox and the summer solstice or just look up the day with the most daylight hours of the year in your area
