Of course they will flower, just not until the sun changes to fall hours, which is late September/October (East Coast). That's why outdoor plants get huge, because they essentially are in veg state from late April until September, which translates into a 5 month veg. All you need is patience, and somewhere to hide a 6' plant. Good luck

I find my plants start to flower in late July/Aug in San diego. Longest day with 14 hours 20 minutes is around June 20th. So within 30 to 60 days from June 20th the stretch begins. At least in my experience.

I should have said finish time, not bloom. Thanks for the correction

I grow outside with a 14:45 longest day and usually start to see flowers start in the first couple of weeks in August, with harvest end of September through mid October.
