seems like every iphone user has battery problems and shuts off in the cold and my samsung galaxy 4 randomly shut off all day so i smashed that a while ago in rage fit of shitty glitchy design problems / shutting off randomly a bunch of times in a row

so basically whats a phone that don't conk out like a piece of shit after a year of use?

I haven't ever had iPhone battery problems
But I take care of my phone and don't leave every fucking app on either
I've had my iPhone 6 since it came out

I don't like androids interface emotes or keyboard so no advice on those ones
But Samsung is a good brand

I can never get a phone that lasts more than 18 months at best. Most of them seem to get glitchy and bitchy after a while, I believe it's all part of Planned Obsolescence -

noun: planned obsolescence
  1. a policy of producing consumer goods that rapidly become obsolete and so require replacing, achieved by frequent changes in design, termination of the supply of spare parts, and the use of nondurable materials.

I have had LG phones since the clam shell days. Just got the new G5...had the old LG for 3 yrs., battery shot and tiny memory 95% used so I splurged...they do get slow without memory and drop more calls. They're all nice when they're new.

samsung actually updated the emoticons to be almost identical to iphones, i never use emoticons on phone anyways though lol
It seems that phone is built ruggedly with durability in mind. I think I'm going to switch over. Thanks SM...
yeah i need durability more then anything

Never had a problem with the Galaxy 5 Active, have had it for 2 yrs

I have the galaxy S5.....what's the active?

I'm just waiting to re new ...most likely go with the S7...or wait for the S8

Only thing I didn't like is when I did the first lollipop update it killed a full battery in less than an hour. ..so they gave me a new one..yay...oh. ..also the battery charge port cover is weak as fuck

I think they're all the same now. I had a Pantech Flex smart phone for almost 3.5 years. Loved that phone. Never a problem. It still works, I just gifted it to my wife's brother. I have had a Samsung S5 for 5 months now and I fucking hate it. Memory card problems, weird glitches. It fucking sucks a bag of dicks. My brother has a Samsung S6 active and about 2 hours after he financed it, it fell 12 inches from his pocket at the beach on some sand and the screen fucking shattered. They're all made to break now.

hahaha yeah wouldn't surprise me man society is rigged to fuck as many bucks out of u as possible eh lol, i swear they make phones slippery as fuck and easy to drop to sell more phone cases

The Active has a mil-spec cover and reenforced corners; its beefier and can handle more jolts, drops, etc. So its a tad bigger and less "graceful" and prolly girls wouldn't like it

so what new phone should i buy for a reasonable price lols
are there any reasonable prices? lol
Figure out what you have to have, app-wise; how much you'll store on it in the way of files, what type service you have in your area (3G or 5G); and how brutal you are with it. Alas, they are like computers and you can't custom build one with just the stuff you want like you can computers

The Ara phone is supposed to be like that. I wonder if it's coming out soon? They estimated this month...

any phone that isn't apple and doesn't turn off randomly after a year would be fine lol
