does the running at higher voltage thing make them more dangerous in some way? or is there any disadvantage to them running at higher voltage? or does it not matter since they run at lower amps and ultimately the same wattage?... sorry I know that's probably a stupid question

Dunno if anyone is aware of this or how it might affect @robincnn @Stephenj37826 and your products with them being DIY. It will be good for the decent companies like HLG to be able to separate themselves out from the dross rip-off shit on eBay/Amazon etc, to those not aware. Also great for us buyers...or more importantly people new to growing/LED's will know exactly what they are getting and it should take away the guess work and wallet-emptying tactics of the shysters...... Would be great to see a worldwide standard of growlight so we all know where we are!

Cool! I like simple and DIY in the growroom. Its why I like auto pots, no power, only 2 moving parts that even though plastic, won't wear out for years, an ingenious and elegant valve design that fills the tray about 1/2" then dose not open again until the base is dry. Using organics in the pot and plain water in the res, now I can spend time on/with the plants themselves.

Hydro Halos, Basically a MacGyver'ed self watering system DTW.
