The average high temperature is 47°F and the low is 38°F. We set a record high temperature yesterday. We had 7.39 inches of rain in January. It's currently 52°F at 6:30 am. Being on the Pacific coast our weather can change rapidly from systems dropping down from Alaska or coming from the west. Sometimes we get an atmospheric river that's called the Pineapple Express because it comes from the tropical pacific around Hawaii. It's also the cause of mudslides in California and flooding along the Oregon and Washington coasts. The West Hills around Portland are prone to mudslides and just recently a main road that cuts through those hills was temporarily shut down to one lane due to a mudslide and the mudslide season is just getting started.

Good Monday Morning. It is 42°F at 0645 and we are expecting 64° this afternoon! Rain is heading our way too, just to complete this spring like thing we've got going here and we expect more than 2-inches Tuesday thru Friday.

My old boss's husband was pretty high up in National Guard and the VP of a local timber company. He did a lot of work in Central America replanting trees where there had been mud slides. {I have fond memories of the Cuban cigars I got out of the deal}

Wunderground said it only got down to 42F, but there was a thin layer of ice on the truck when I headed home from the river house this morning. Later in the day when we went back down for the wife to get her steps, it was 77F, and I took off my shirt for a while. First shirtless day of the year.

At 1700 it's sunny, 70F with 44% humidity. Forecast low of 51F with 10% chance of rain tonight and tomorrow, with 20% tomorrow night. 10 day high low of 75/39F with 2 days of possible rain.

So your temp range swung from near freezing to 77° F -- kinda crazy. It's not really crazy here, just sorta spring like.

Everything is wet as we wake to sprinkles at 0800 and then a high later today of 63°.

OK, so maybe it is crazy here too.

Our local TV weather guy has said it's been 5-6 degrees above average for a few weeks now. Very little cold so far. Just enough for me to be singing the Ass Cheese Blues blues.

Another nice day here. But I didn't get outside before I left for work except to rake out the leftovers when I was doing dishes. We went from 50 to 73F with lots of sun early, but the clouds are here now. At 1645 it's mostly cloudy, 70F with 65% humidity. Forecast low of 60F with 20% chance of rain tonight, 60% tomorrow and 90% tomorrow night. 10 day high low of 78/36F with 5 days of possible rain. Possible severe weather Thursday.

We have had crazy wind all day. Some last night too, but mostly today. Lots of trees down on the roads and power lines. I have power here at work, but we were in the dark at home. The rain had all passed to the north of us until the last hour or so. It's also dropped 10 degrees since the rain started. At 1540 it's light rain with thunder, 65F with 89% humidity. Forecast low of 38F with 100% chance of rain tonight, 0% chance tomorrow and 10% tomorrow night. 10 day high low of 78/36F with 6 days of possible rain. We have been under a tornado watch all day, and continue to be.

It has been raining steadily for two days and won't stop until Friday morning. Expecting a really nice Saturday though. Meanwhile the ground is totally saturated. DCA is reporting almost half-an-inch over the last six hours. Standing water everywhere, unsuspecting puddles, the works. At 2000 it is 45°F and that's probably our low. Tomorrow's high will most likely be in the high 40s.

We had a chilly, but sunny day. We went from 37 to 55F today. Not too bad if you could find a spot in the sun and out of the wind. At 1735 it's clear, 50F with 45% humidity. Forecast low of 35F with 10% chance of rain tonight, 10% tomorrow and 20% tomorrow night. 10 day high low of 78/35F with 4 days of possible rain.

Yeah, we had wind too and tornadoes. This morning it was 31° at sunrise. It was 7:07am. The wind and rain is gone though and the sun actually rose in the sky, a nice bit of pink and everything.

Looks like a great Saturday though with highs climbing into the mid 40s. Sunset is scheduled for 5:37pm so the day is 10 hours and 29 minutes. I'll take that.

Yea, I saw about the twisters on the news. That is pretty rare in your neck of the woods.

It only got down to 32F but with no wind, we had a good white frost this morning. We went down to the river house to walk a little after 0800 and it was already up to 45F. I dressed warm, but it was so toasty I had to ditch my sweater. At 1045 it's sunny, 61F with 31% humidity. Forecast high low of 67/43F with 0% chance or rain today, 10% for tonight and tomorrow. 10 day high low of 78/42F with 5 days of possible rain.

Really nice day here. I had a late night at work and slept in, so we didn't get to do any walking before I had to leave for work. At 1505 it's sunny, 73F with 34% humidity. Forecast high low of 73/53F with 0% chance of rain today, 10% tonight and 10% tomorrow night. 10 day high low of 80/38F with 5 days of possible rain.

Spring tornadoes in DC in February.

Climate change is a hoax.
