you're right, I don't get it- so you're complaining about fleecing the government..? and you hate people who fleece the government..? but you're going to fleece the government..?:wall:
complaining about the waste and more money to the rich instead of a needs based approach.

You sound a person who can’t pay rent
ummm actually, I paid my rent timely on the 1st..my landlord even texted to thank me for leaving it first thing on Wednesday morning rather than making them wait until late in the day..

I'm employed.

You sound a Trumper*..and you don't have to apply for that money you don't need- but will you..Trumper*? of course you will, for you ARE A TRUMPER*!

If people can’t pay rent they shouldn’t have to. I have a rental and rely on it but if it meant the tenants were deciding between food and rent, buy food, we’ll all get through this only if we do it together.
Are you writing it off or keeping it on their ledger? I’m not writing anything off, payment plans.

This has nothing to do with liberals, this is all republican. Stealing from the poor to give to the rich is al Republicans.
I feel your pain, man...I rented out a condo in MAand landlords have no rights in this state. I saw landlords get fucked over left and right in MA and sitting through a couple court cases, where landlords were trying to evict freeloaders, was enough . I didn't even make enough off rent to pay the mortgage on it, but had to keep the condo until it financially made sense to let it go, and nothing felt better than not having to worry about having a freeloader try to live there rent free for months. While I do agree that people shouldn't be able to just evict others for no reason, I also think is it bullshit to treat people who rent out their property as some wealthy person who has it better than those who rent their property. There are plenty of people who rent out their property because their property value dropped, and they can't afford to sell it.

Americans bought about two million guns in March, according to a New York Times analysis of federal data. It was the second-busiest month ever for gun sales, trailing only January 2013, just after President Barack Obama’s re-election and the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

I haven’t had to go there yet because my tenants are on pensions so nothing has changed for them. But if it happened that they couldn’t pay then I’m sure I could work with them to come up with something that works. I have offered to do what ever they need, get them food, etc. And I keep their rent low as well because they’re great tenants!

That’s what I did, too. I lost money on my unit because I had incredible tenants, who took care of the condo, and I did not want to lose them and risk having a horrible tenant move in. They rented my place for 10 years and I never raised their rent. It killed me financially, though, and I got behind on my own property taxes because of it. I sold that condo a few years ago, just refinanced my house last month, and I’m finally out from being buried in back taxes.

It’s tough when you rent a property and still live paycheck to paycheck like the person who rents from you. People tend to think all landlords are rolling in money. If you read my last post in this thread you’ll see that I put my self in debt just so I didn’t have to raise rent on my tenant. I came inches away from having the house I live in foreclosed on because of it. While I agree that they should try to help their tenant, as much as they can, they shouldn’t have to lose everything they have in the process of doing so.

Agreed, I also said if possible...of course no one should lose their shirts, but if taking some stress off the less fortunate, it should be a no brainer.
Anyone who can look at themself in the mirror, and tell themself honestly they are doing all they can...good enough.
Peace.
