Buy qb96 instead, that has a very nice spectrum, about 8 of those would be great in that space, I was running 6 in a 4x4 and it was amazing. If not too much light

The spectrum is better I agree but the efficiency is by far worse.

If I went this route, I'd probably do six, like you. Wonder how six V2s would compare against the 650R

I think I'm going to go this route. When you have 12 of these, do you just use angle iron to build the frames? If so, do you have the three rows separate, or do you have one big frame?
Are the 4ks a better spectrum than the 3ks?

Actually if you want to get a little better grow 16 qb 120 would be awsome. The frame you would build as big as the grow tent almost, And have the boards distributed evenly. And yes you build it with an aluminum angle. If you want help choosing a driver I can help !!!

And the 4k are for veg, if you add deep red it an be good for flowering and veg. But for flowering 3000k is better.

If it was me I'd get the 2 XL 320 kits. That would give a better spread. You could always replace the 6 Rspec boards with the Diablo boards later if you want. That's my plan. But I love my Rspec's.I was planning on ordering two of these XL 320 kits for my 5 x 5 footprint, but then I saw the new 650r. It looks like it'd be close to the equivalent layout, and the prices are close, but would one be better than the other?

I don't know, I ordered some far red diodes from eBay and the arrived and they where shipped through normal mail. Kingbrite ships through dhl so I think you should be fine.

Me neither, I bought the originals but the diode they use is the same so they should be pretty similar. HLG is almost a Chinese company if you want me to explain more I am willing to.
