Is she ready to CHOP?

Based on trichom’s alone, what do y’all think? She is half way through her seventh week, not putting much more flower on now. I’m planning to give her 1 more week, but after than I need the space! Her trich’s are all milky, and for a first time grow with more plants growing VERY fast, I’m kinda wanting her finished lol. Let me know what you think! bongsmilie

The 21 day rule also includes flushing time if you want to flush.

Internet will break at this point and people will explode with opinions. I PERSONALLY believe you should flush as I notice a difference in smoothness, burnability, taste and smell. However there are people who believe flushing is for toilets and not plants, the debate rages on.

If you're interested. I flush for 10-14 days in soil allowing 3-4 days of dry out time before harvest. Remember youre flushing not drowning. Little and often is key.

Coco I flush for 5-7 days with a flushing agent for the first flush and water for remaining time. Again allow for 2-4 days dry out time.

Hydro I flush again with a flushing agent for the first 24-36 hours and flush for 3-5 days allowing only a day drying time before harvest. Changing res daily after flushing agent.

All water is not pH'd as it doesn't affect nutrients being expelled via the roots and the plant will absorb water regardless.

I use cold tap water for all parts of my flush and have been known to chill with ice bottles for an hour's or so before watering. Some shock is good as I forces extra THC production as a last ditch effort.

Before harvest also I leave them in complete darkness for 24-36 hours with the fans still running. Again small amount of additional shock to promote production!

Some great advice there! I started the flush around a week ago, she has exactly 1 week to go now, the dark period was already planned as I have heard this is a good idea. I have been ph’ing my water, but now you say that it makes sense, I will stop wasting my time lol. I’m in soil so flushing for 2 weeks. Looking at the bud now it has really changed appearance over the past few days, she is looking extremely white and frosty, with a couple amber swirls mixed in. Thanks for your advice

Added to this I've seen/read about it but never done it. People have piled ice on top of there medium to flush it at the start. Let it melt rather then water it. I have no experience with it but always nice to learn or share something different.

I can’t believe you brought this up, my plan is to put her in darkness, and put a bunch off ice on top of the medium to melt in! I seen someone swears by it, so guna give it a shot!

Only way I know to increase thc in the last two weeks is this.

Blast of uvb which causes the plant to produce more thc, acts like sun barrier to stop it being burnt.
