Hello fellow okie’s, I’m new to this forum and growing too . I look forward to gaining a little knowledge from all the people here. I grew one plant this year, it is currently in week 8 of flower and looks like a disaster. Prolly gonna chop it next week and get me a grow tent next year. The plant I have is growing in the corner of my garage, so I have upgrades in my future

You'll get there. I'm sure you've already found that there is a ton of useful info on the RIU forums. Look to some of the instructional posts of Well-Known Members.

Good luck!

Some of you already know me.. but been an Okie all my life except when I moved overseas for a few years and came back. When 788 passed, we immediately did a fresh buildout of my shop with a 20x30 grow room, and the rest of the building is dry, trim, Mother Room, office, and propagation. We've done 6 big grows, but only do one at a time.. no separate veg/flower rooms. Its just me and the Mrs. running the business, Compound HQ LLC. We've had alot of success, and learned alot of lessons, and have gotten great advise from the awesome people here on RIU!.. Here's our current grow...Orange Kush Cake, Grape Diamonds, and Tenth Planet about to hit the shelves in early Jan.20122027-6491-4E88-A3C4-E23AEB26E602.jpeg3A4C9E3E-D602-48DC-BDB2-734DBBFAF0BF.jpegFF935A44-A9F3-4B81-9353-91E8E44C3DF9.jpegA70AE7AF-1E65-45CB-AD64-C8BEBE36BE3A.jpeg

Thanks brother!, I definitely couldn’t have gotten this far without all of your help here on RIU... especially Renfro, that guy is so generous with his time and knowledge. I actually met him in Colorado while on a trip out there. We talked for a while, and 3 hours went by before we knew it!.. we had to get back on the road, but it was great meeting him.

My first full 4x4. Really excited to see how it goes, only grown 2 plants before this and both went alright. Learned a lot and hopefully it will pay off here.

There's 5 plants here, 3x Gelato Cake and 2x Gorilla Cookies, both from elev8. I took clones from them and the next generation is in veg right now.

Ya, Renfro is the master. I was by no means comparing myself to him. His wisdom far surpasses my limited knowledge any day. He's the one who helped you, not me. I don't know shit. I just want to be clear that I'm just a rookie still, but would love to follow along your thread.

Please do!... Renfro is def a mastermind, and he’s made me spend stupid amounts of money on tools, and equipment, but it’s been worth ever penny. :D

May I ask what lights you are using?
What hydro or soil technique are you using?

Which model of MarsHydro light are you using?

We have been using HLG 550 V2’s quantum boards for the past 2 years. We use BM7 soil which is pretty much a clean slate peat mix. Sometimes we get good batches of it and other times we have to do hard ph corrections with it.
2020 was my first time outdoor and first time in soil. All previous stuff was indoor hydro. There's certainly a lot to learn with soil and sun.
Thanks for sharing the info.
