This was my current situation as of mid November. I have a 4x5 tent with a spider farmer-4000 for lighting. Setup in my garage so I to battle the Oklahoma climate swings. At least now it finally decided to be cold. These are gorilla glue, green crack, Durban poison, & grand daddy purp. I have since started new seedlings of all and a blue dream as well. Harvest time should put me right around Christmas.

Hey what's up @Growklahoma . looks like maybe potassium deficiency...judging by some of the lower fan leaves. See the attached chart. I use either Dyna- gro protekt, which has potassium silicate, or I use potassium sulfate if I also need to supplement sulphur. If you use protekt just watch the pH because it raises the pH of your solution. Mix the protekt into the water first, and then add other stuff if you need to, then adjust pH. If you do it in another order, the reaction between the nutes in the mix can cause some things to crystallize and precipitate out of the solution.
Good luck!

Thanks for the advice. I need a good potassium only supplement. It’s been nothing but problems with these plants from the get go. I took a clone off sum orange crush I had growing outside and put that bug infested clone with these. I’ve used neem oil, spinosad, and sum organic garlic based stuff. I think I have finally gotten that issue under control.

One of the first grow mentors I had got me using neem oil for weekly maintenance from the start. I've always used it for foliar and root drench on every grow until the second week of flower, and it has helped control most everything including mites, caterpillars, and mildew. Only in soil I've also used diatomaceous earth on the soisurface to help control fungus gnats. The Dynagro protekt is very good supplement. The silicate helps strengthen cell walls...read the spiel on their website. If you might need sulphur too, the potassium sulfate can be purchased dry in bags on Amazon. Sulphur helps bring out some aroma and flavor when used in the latter part of flower, but it also works together with iron for some metabolic processes.

I have stocked up on the supplies to treat for bugs before they ever become a problem again. I’m not planning on dealing with that again.

We’ve never had spider mites, but we don’t bring anything into the facility either. We have cloned everything since day 1 with the exception of adding a new strain by seed, then pheono hunt that particular strain. I heard SM are the worst.
If you've ever grown tomatoes outside then you've almost certainly had spider mites on them. They travel into your grow on you. Avoid doing work in the garden/yard and then going into your grow. They'll come right in on you. Don't let pets into the grow area for that and other potential contamination. For me, the best way is to do some preventative maintenance. Once they get you one time, you don't forget it.

Im sure!... but I don't have any other gardens inside or out. Just the facility, and we spray ourselves down with Physan20 before entering the room. This will not kill SM, but it will kill mold spores and other pathogens. We have separate shoes we use for entry into the grow. Only problem we have had in a couple of grows is Fungus Gnats.... not the worst pest to have, they're more annoying than anything. I just put a mosquito dunk in a net bag, and tie a length of fishing line to it and tie it off at the top of our 55 gallon tank. The dunk releases BTI as I feed/water, and they eventually go away. I also put a 6x10 inch yellow sticky trap on every plant as an early detection system for pests. Takes a while to break the cycle on FG, but it's not the worst problem to have.

Good practices. Actually, broad/hemp russet mites are the worst. Fought those for 2 years straight:/

California checking in.

I had a buddy when I lived in NY that moved to Oklahoma. He called me the dork from NY. I called him a oklahomo.

Ah fun times.

You know when shit like that wasn't looked at as a great injustice to the world and funny was just funny.

Wished I could recommend, but I don't go up that way much... esp for grow supplies. I order online mostly.
I saw your post about cloning issues, and it got me thinking. I want to find some heavy duty propagation trays and humidity domes. I had some really good ones I got at a place in okc like 8 or 9 years ago, but theyre out of business since then. I'm afraid if I order something online without seeing it first, it'll be some flimsy bs. When you get yours in, will you please let us know the quality?

I bought a couple of things off of Amazon to try. The first one I got in was a 72 spot hothouse with a heat mat and some Root Riot cubes. The unit is very flimsy, but it'll prob work. You'd prob have to buy a new one each round because they are so cheaply built... IN CHINA!... but the heat mat is good. I also am going to try Rapid Rooters (will be here tomorrow) I got 2 50 spotters.

I also use a dome, heat mat, and plugs. The brand of dome I got is super sprouter. The dome itself is flimsy, very cheap. It works great though. Every clone and seed I have started in there so far has made it, except for 1 bag-seed that got cracked in the grinder.
I have also used both rapid rooters and root riot plugs. I noticed on mine the planting hole on the rapid rooters is slightly larger than that of the root riot plugs. It could have just been the batch. I only bought the root riot because I use clonex rooting gel and really like it so I wanted to try their root plug also.
The rapid rooters felt a little less dense and more airy to me. Which in my opinion was better. I think I’m going to stick with rapid rooters.
