A friend that was active in the effort to legalize here and has frequent contact with legislators told me that the legislators' intentions are to keep it as free market as possible...with limitation on out of state resident business ownership to protect OK resident owned businesses. We'll see if they stay true.

They are nailing the free market part. Not sure the plumbers and electricians aren't gonna turn out to be the big winners though lol.

I lived in Minnesota for a little while way back in the day. I just remember lots and lots and lots of snow....and ice fishing....and beer!

HAHA.. We have a few at the entrance for OMMA in the rare occasion they show up. But no joke, we bounced our microbes on the last grow at 35,000 CFU's... this past one with the AirROS was not even detectable. No change in method, same RH, temps..etc.. this thing just works!

I believe it...I know some Jay-Kwelins, Dee-Nices, Bu-Lakays, and a couple of A-A-Rons. We never let them hear the end of it! Hahahaha!

Definitely does limit. We are a family owned business, 2 of us are Oklahoma residents, the other two Washington. However 75% ownership is theirs. Even when you do see an out of state company like star buds, exotic genetixs (red River) cookies, they have to license up with an Oklahoma resident and technically it’s the Oklahoma resident running their brand. The saturated market is due to locals getting involved with cannabis brands that have been around and legal almost 10 years.

And even if the out of state resident wanted to transfer ownership they had to have had 2 years of continuous residency in the state of Oklahoma. I heard that they were extending the residential requirement to 5 years.

I’m sorry, not the best at typing, and I didn’t want to be exact... but there’s 3. 2 Oklahoma, and 1 out of state. 75% ownership goes to Oklahoma 25% Other.

That makes less sense.... you have 2 people and one out of State.. that's 75%... you need another person for 100% ownership.
