Are you drying and curing it properly? THC gets unlocked during the curing
What are you talking about? I don't cure my weed and I can guarantee that it gets you high as soon as it's dry and smokeable. And people get high off of dispensary weed. Do you think that weeds been cured for months with crews of people burping jars? No. They dry it package it and sell it.

my last grow went to garbage no potency i asked for help here and almost all people told me cbd seeds , now i tried 2 genetics and the no potency ghost is coming back , what is doing this to my growns :(

8,5 since flip
Those plants are not even close to being done. You're harvesting way too early if you're not getting high. Grow the plants until their done and it will get you high.

Why are you even sampling it anyway? Looks like another 4 weeks to go.

Simple explanation, plain bud is weak at the best of times, much less when it barely started budding. You would feel it if you had no tolerance at all, hadn't smoked anything for a few weeks. Weed is really only good for putting a little in a pipe to put a drop of extract on top of, it's perfect for that, but smoking weed alone won't do much for a person with tolerance.

Like the olden days? Hell, take it one step further, don't trim it and sell the shake.

I'm not here to crap on you, but you could use a little education from an old timer.

Ask yourself why weed that should be shit, comes in bricks, and is so potent? It's called fermentation and that only happens after a cure. I'm not saying mexican brick is cured on site. It's harvested, dried to about 68-70, and compressed in brick. Then it sit in the heat until it's shipped. The brick cures, then ferments. Sound familiar? It's called Malawi Cobs. They've been doing that in Africa for centuries. For thousands of years actually. And they're still doing it. Hell, some of us are doing it here now.

Here's some of mine.

It's more traditional if you wrap it in corn husks for the sweat like this.

Here's a good video on how to make them.

I fucking promise you, if this doesn't take you on a spiritual journey, nothing will. And it all starts with the cure.

Because my last grow when it got ready it diddnt have potency and im paranoid that some factor like my lights are the reason for the plants not getting me high , it will be devastanting if i trow another grow to garbage because it doesnt get me high

I don't need an education. I get good and high off of my fresh dried weed and it tastes great. That's the way I like it. I understand about the changes it undergoes later on but I don't care. I'm not all about THC. I'm about taste and smell and curing changes that in ways I don't particularly care for. I don't enjoy old cured weed. I like my weed fresh and full of character. I don't like it cured for months. Plus I'm not spending the time fiddling around burping and looking at hygrometers. I dry until jar ready without any potential to mold and then jar it up. That's the way I roll.

There's nothing wrong with how you cure your weed if that's how you like it. I don't. If there is any increase in THC due to curing I'm not concerned.

The post I responded to was saying that curing unlocks the THC which seemed to insinuate that the reason the OP wasn't getting high off their weed was because they weren't curing it which is incorrect. You don't have to cure your weed for it to be potent.

Id say the 6 months cure limit to no more returns in potency or taste/smoothness etc only applies to indica hybrids cos strains like haze have a long shelf life if treated right and as for cbn i wouldnt say sickly feeling cbn rich weed is awesome for sleep in my experience obviously your starting material needs to be good to start with or its gonna be shit regardless

Op id say you need to get your climate control in order and also finish it right before you judge it cos some strains take time till they get the magic and thats not just sativas some indica type strains take time to clock up too and the drying n curing can make or break all your hard work so remember this too as well

lol. I vape 0.06g once a day and it gets me where I need to be. I don't do concentrates. If you need to dab to feel the effects of THC, you might have a problem.

The only concentrates I smoke is the dry ice hash I make from trim and rare. I don't do any of those high octane concentrates either. I'd much prefer smoking a bowl of some Ethiopian even though the THC content is only 10-15%. I recently harvested some Night Nurse and I've found that it's too strong for my morning smoke as I get too stoned and lose the ambition to get anything done. I also go days without smoking anything sometimes. I've purposely lowered my intake over the last few years so that I don't need to be smoking concentrates or half an ounce a day. My tolerance level is probably lower than most on this site. I'd likely get high from smoking stems. :bigjoint:

Did you ever properly dry any of the last grow? Or did you sample it early and just toss it? Patience sounds like it's your issue not the weed.

How? This is your problem (other than the pot simply not being ready).

Try putting it in a vape and pulling on it at 230C or so until you can taste the burning, then put the vaped weed in a pipe and smoke it. Guaranteed method, usually gets me higher (psychedelic wise, not stoned) than smoking the cured weed.
Or better yet, wait until they're ready, then take samples while drying/curing. I predict a headache from trying something like that.
