Drying!

I don't mean to hijack your post. If I'm doing this wrong please let me know. This is my drying dilemma. I can't really get down to 60% humidity and maintain it. I am in a tropical climate. It's either Outdoors or in the garage. What should I do?
Dumidifier? Fans pointing at the wall on low to have some air circulation?

UPDATE: Currently day number 4 on drying, I added my humidifier on a low setting to keep above 55ish almost 60, Temps are staying mainly 66-68 a few hours it hits 70. They are still super moist buds but the leaves are starting to get crunchy. I'm saying another 3 days they should be ready for the jars.

Is it ok to cut all slower off the stem and trim it and lay it on a screen for the last few days then jar it? Does it change the outcome or am.i cool?

It's just some of thr nugs feeo dryer than others on thr same branch. Can I trim the dry nugs and add to the jar or what?

You can do that whatever you want, man. It has been 5 days at 55-60% and 68°...if you think they are dry at this point, put em in the jar and see what happens.

In comparison, I have almost the exact same conditions and I'm on day 8 and mine are going to go another few days.

Try this...take one or your "dry" nugs and pull it down from the direction it was growing on the stem and if it snaps cleanly off, you're dry...if it pulls some fibers with it, it is not dry.

Ok I did this with a test branch 2 weeks before harvest and the nugs felt dry but when I did what you said it pulls off hard and tears the stem like a string. But I still trimmed that ine branch and put it in a little jar with a hydro meter and the meter wouldn't get over 55-56 percent.

Tbh man when I think they r dry enough I put them in the jar for say 12-24 hrs to get a good reading if it’s over 70 I take it back out and bag it again for a day then repeat process till it hovers at 67% rh then start my burping process

I’ve noticed as well some people insist their bud stanks the whole time but I feel as if it’s gets a grass smell feels a little crunchy and not as sticky when trimmed aka chlorophyll hasn’t fully been diminished …and the burping process helps release that green smell and matures terpenoids cbn cbd thca ..etc

Follow the thread on curing like I was talking about bro. I promise you. It works great.
As for smell. If your weed smell like grass or hay. Always for me. Has been a bad sign or step. All my harvests picked right smelled accordingly. Only the ones picked early, cured incorrectly and or dried wrong (mostly picked to early) smelled like under a lawn mower. But in the end. You are the ultimate judge to your own harvest Looks good tho man!!

Just took them all out the jar and weighed it all was 150 grams still curing but I would say 4oz or a little more. Pretty exciting!

Update: I took my buds out the jar and weighed it all was 150.5 grams, figure after it's done curing probably have 4 oz. Jars are stay 63-65 on the meters. I am burping 3 times a day for about 5 minutes.20210807_162147.jpg

Soooo…if I can control the Humidity at any target value but can’t control temps below 75 degrees what would the Rh need to be in order to keep the dry time slow?
mom drying in a tent in my house but will not be able to drop temps below 70 unless I run the house ACto that temp which isn’t going to happen.

I don't know man that's a tuff one. A humidifer as long as you have a cool mist humidifier that should cool it off quite a bit. But also have a small fan facing the tent wall just to keep air moving.
Edit: hang the entire plant don't cut separate branches off.
