When should I lst for scrog ?

Growing photos all indica dominant . Just topped all 3 at the 5th node . Quite a bit of height needed to reach scrog just yet only at day 25 veg .

Should I let the plant continue to grow vertically another week or 2 ..and continue to top once or twice again and then lst

If you were to let those plants reach the screen...then flip to flower. If the plant then doubled in size how much room would be left in the tent....probably zero.

You want the screen as low as possible and to start lst as soon as possible.

Is also looks like those pots are small. Are those the final pots? Are you hand watering? Need to leave room for that.

3 plants is going to be a lot in the space. Will need to trim a lot.

What size tent is that?

Are you going to LST or SCROG? Top away. I top 3 times starting at the first full set of leaves. In a row. Supercropping starts as soon as anything is long enough to snap or twist. Keeps canopy shaped and even height. It gets SCROG after the stems start elongating again.
Im going to scrog . I figured you lst to give the stems some pre training to fit the scrog .

Or my other assumption is each time you top the side shoots get longer filling out the width of the scrog while the middle 2 new stems meet the middle .

Iim just wondering if I should lst to pretrain for scrog

Don't top side shoots. You get 8 main branches doing as I described. Shaping exposes the side buds. You'll be thinning instead of wanting more buds.

4x4 is plenty room for 3 then. I'd put the net as low as you can and leave the plants in the center. Then use the net to push the main stalk towards the outside edge. Push all the side growth to open spots. Cut out stuff that is to jammed up against each other. It can become a lot of effort.

I put my net on very young and push the top down under the net from 1 side of the tent to the other. But the point is to just open it up and let the side branches see the light.

I topped once and then began training when the plant reached the screen.

This is day 1 and day 14 of 12/12 to give you an idea of how much 1 plant after 8 weeks veg still fills out during the stretch phase i continued to tuck into the screen for approx 10 days after switching to 12/12.

screen dimensions 3ft x2.5ft

How many do you need? This was a bit too many tbh, but turned out ok. No topping.

all of them...i need all of them
not everyone has the same set up, some people don't have room to stretch all their plants out laterally as far as they'll go.
i top twice and do a little lst, but i don't want my plants to get much wider than the tomato cages i use to support them in flower. i run a perpetual and need ten plants running all the time to get a plant a week out of it, and give them enough time to ripen. if i spread them apart, i could only run maybe 6...i might get a little more off of each plant, but it would totally fuck up my schedule, and no way would it be double what i'm getting now

LST doesn't mean you have to do that. I grow largeish plants to keep numbers down, but the way I shape them would work for smaller diameter plants just as well. If you find topping useful then do it by all means. I, personally, think that everything topping does can be done by bending. Bending saves the top node so it's a bit faster way to produce tops, but both are valid techniques. The smaller the plant is when you start bending the easier/quicker it is to break apical dominance and grow equal tops in a crown formation. See how the plant in my pic grows symmetrically around the pot in all directions.
