An isn't a bad nutrient.
It's just diluted, over priced, marketed, split into a million bottles you don't need.
Why pay for water and a cartoon of a tomato driving a race car? Lol who fucking cares. Or you can buy 2lbs of nutrients in powder form that will last you 20 grows for 20 bucks.
Ever wonder how much they paid to have those cartoons drawn up? How much they pay those chicks at shows to dress up in tight clothes with their tits out? Hmmm marketing to the 19-40yr old male....the general population of the growing community..... How many suits got paid to come up with those ideas.

Your comments are important to me guys. I'm a beginner so I don't know much about it. As I said, there are no products of the brand named jacks in my country. If you don't recommend advanced nutrients, would you recommend other quality brands?

Every weed specific nutrient is trying to expand your need for additives
Huge red flag

Not sure why there are so many AN haters ?

Sure, it's relatively expensive with childish marketing but it is geared towards a market that probably finds this fun !

I did two grows with AN > M/G/B, Sensizyn, Big bud and B-52.

Spent ~ $120 for 1L containers of the mains and 250L of the supplements.

Harvested 30 oz with enough nutrients left over to grow another three plants. So $2/oz.

Having said that, I quickly tired of the experiments with ratios and the mixing in general.

Giving Mega Crop a go this time. Unfortunately the only size available for months was the 25# bag for ~$126 shipped.

So glad it's working because I now have enough for years of growing ;)

Cheers

Because it's overpriced and split into many needless bottles. I don't like paying for water.

You did a breakdown of price part between two nutrients for me. $120 for two grows or $120 for years of growing for you.

Hello. I am going to start a journey with single autoflower and Mars Hydro TS600. Based on my research, I decided to buy my nutrients from Advanced Nutrients. Can we make a basic combination of the best products of this brand?

What's on my mind;
Micro-Blow-Grom Set
Carboload
Cal-Mag Extra
Overdrive
Big Bud
Voodoo Juice

Is there anything you want me to add or subtract? I didn't want to exaggerate because my light would be weak and the only plant, I just want to create a list of must-haves. Thanks in advance.
It’s all the same stuff.. just different concentrations mostly, but advanced leaves a lot of things out that can be useful, and makes you pay extra to have it.
Been there.. here is the shelf of shame.

Unfortunately, this brand is not available in the growshops in my country. There are well-known brands such as AN, Canna, Hesi, General Hydroponics, General Organics, Biobizz. Can I get a suggestion other than Jacks? Even if it's not AN, since you say it's bad, I trust you. I guess I was a little confused that it was ranked #1 in Growdiaries.
There's nothing wrong with AN. Their base nutrients are the same price as GHE/Terra Aquatica. I don't know where to buy chitosan, triacontanol, ethephon for cheap, granted I haven't looked, but if it means I'd have to have 10kg sacks of the stuff I'll pass. Also I hate working with dry nutrients.

Online ordering is expensive as fuck. You can't get anything from the US shipped for less than 80$ and you have to pay customs fees and taxes, it would be A LOT more expensive than anything AN sells locally. I started with General hydroponics, not going back. I also tried megacrop, hated working with it, it's also not available anymore. Also I checked, Jack's doesn't ship to my country.

Americans need to realize that when someone outside US asks about Advanced Nutrients, it's not helpful at all to just say "durrr buy Jack's".

Only maxigro and maxibloom are available in here.
Jack's and Megacrop need to come from USA which is very customs cost.

Anything else you want me to add besides GH Maxigro/Bloom? Advanced Nutrients or another brand. I would love to hear all of your recommendations, but unfortunately the options are limited. Both the variety of products are few and everything is very expensive.

If you can only get maxigro/bloom out of the three go for it still. Liquid nutes are huge fucking waste of money. Any and all of them.

I personally like using their grow and the bloom. Some people will recommend using only the bloom but i found using both works best. Doesn’t cost anymore than just using the bloom except you’ll need the 2 different bags. I used that stuff for years. I got a 5gal of the bloom as backup in case i run out of megacrop.

You shouldn’t need anything else. It’s POSSIBLE that you might end up a little short on Mg or Ca, but you’ll need to grow first to find out. With the maxigro/bloom you never need to go above 5ml/gal. More like 4ml/gal max. Start rooted cuts at around half that, seedlings even less. Best to get an EC meter and a ph meter to keep things dialed in though. You’ll easily be able to afford the two devices with the money you’ll be saving by not buying any of the unnecessary crap you were going to ;-)

You don't need to add sugar to your grows. Bud Candy or not.
I suggest you watch the video... I also agree plants don't need sugar, but the sugar is a means to a goal in this instance... I was just pointing out that if you go look at the label of bud candy... 90+% sugar.

I watched maybe the first 30-60 seconds. I already feel dumber for doing that.

Sugar is a means to a goal in this instance? Could you explain that further?

Thank you very much for the recommendations. Frankly, I was relieved to know that only MaxiGro and Maxibloom were sufficient for the job. So, should I buy a Voodoo Juice other than MaxiGro-Bloom? Or is it not even worth it? Or MaxiGro-Bloom and a pH adjuster. Is that all?

1 autoflower, Mars-Hydro TS600 and I will put plagron bat-mix soil in the lower half of the pot and biobizz light mix soil in the upper half. In other words, the plant will start with lightmix and will switch to batmix as it grows. I thought it might damage it if I started the seed directly from the batmix so I planned to do something like this. Do you think it makes sense?

Yup. Just some ph up and down.
Btw, the maxi series drops the ph more than any other base i’ve ever used.

nah that doesnt work
use light-mix for the seedling & the batmix in the final pot

I would just use the lightmix since you’re going to end up feeding a salt based fert.
