I've read Vampire Weekend have a unique revolving door of openers all tour. Apparently for a few shows out west, they have had English Beat (you'll have to look it up young'n), a Billy Joel cover band and Princess, a Maya Rudolph fronted, all female Prince cover band. Absolutely mental :P The Toronto show has a different opening line up though.
Would love to see them. Good live band? Not coming too close to me, unfortunately.

Lol believe it or not I saw billy Joel with Elton John. Got tickets to see him again in 2020 but I couldn't make the date work so I traded them for cirque du soleil tickets. That show was cancelled and tickets refunded due to covid so I got screwed out of both shows. >:(

Vampire weekend would be fun with Vance Joy or Milky Chance... kinda the same vibe.

Holy shit that is some heavy snow. If you've ever ran a snowblower before...this is the kinda stuff that the blower PUSHES up in a big pile rather than blowing it out or tries to ride up and over the entire pile. Had we received a foot of this we'd be screwed. Feast or famine, for sure.

CO legalized psychedelics (not acid...but most other natural type compounds) in 2022. You can grow em legally (shrooms) and give em away but you can't sell em. I haven't ventured back into the void since my son left the rock in 2011. I just don't know where it would take my head these days.
Had I not tripped a few hundred times in my younger days I'd feel robbed...LOL...but such is not the case. Anybody here micro-dose? Benefits?
I've never done small doses of anything :D :fire:

Those concert prices are getting crazy out there. Yeah...showing my age....

I've been beginning to start researching for micro dosing still don't have everything enough to know yet but watched a Lady or prescribed them and was like 1/10 of dose. Forget what it was tiny piece supposedly helps depression and energy. I'm like you ate enough acid I'm good with that phase

dad's still in the hospital. today is a swallow test - literally happening as i type. i'm back home, trying to keep myself occupied. if he fails the test, we'll have a family meeting as he has already said, multiple times, that he doesn't want a feeding tube.
so i'm stress-planting. filled up the newest raised bed with spinach and onions. sectioned off a small patch next to it for overflow onions. transplanted all the brassicas from their small cells into 4" pots. started new seeds including all the tomatoes, most of the flowers, more brassicas....and for :leaf: i'm hoping everything pops in the next few days: 3 chernobyl; 3 mephisto freebs (SODK x skystomper); 6 FdM Bubblegums from a breeder pack so those will be fun, hopefully.

staying stone cold sober until this family stuff settles a bit. hope everyone is having a good friday...

I went through that. My pops had Parkinson’s, late stage with severe dementia. Sorry you’re dealing with whatever you’re dealing with. It’s hard to see your dad decline. My dad died sept 6th, 2022. RIP buddy, I miss ya.

it's PD. he was diagnosed in 2006 at 60. he's had a good run with it, but in the past year it seems we're on a super slippery slope. just trying to manage his stuff as well as my mom who isn't coping so well.
