Our cleaning lady gave us a flag right before the 4th. She kind of hung it on the front porch. Well, I took it down after she left. The next week she ask about it, and I explained that I didn't want to light it at night, since that would draw bugs to the front door, and I didn't want to take it down every day at sunset. She said, "nobody does those things." Most don't, but a few still actually try to go by long held norms. So no stars and stripes on my undies.
