2nd grow - NLxShiva in soil, 45 days in flower

Here's some pictures of my 2nd grow of Northern Lights x Shiva from Nirvana that I'm growing in soil from seed. I topped it at 3 weeks and it vegged from seed a total of 4 weeks. My first grow stunk but this one and the clones from the first grow are doing much better.

After putting it into flower, it started producing thick white hairs and lots of crystals. Its currently about 24" tall and in day 45 of flower under a 250w HPS. About 2 more weeks to go...

This is a different plant...a clone from my first grow of NLxS. It vegged for 2 weeks after rooting and has been flowering for about 40 days. As you can see the leaves are much darker and make the crystals stand out more. However, the other plant has about 3 times the trichromes all over the buds even though it may not appear so in the pictures.

Looks good man. I am germing some of these atm moment. Have you had a chance to smoke it yet? How is it? Also, you doin soil? How does this strain respond to nutes, hungry, sensitive, or what?

Wow this was a long time ago. I was growing in dirt...the organic miracle grow stuff along with miracle grow perlite which I found out had its own nutes in it and gave me the bad nute burn.

The clay pellets I just laid on top of the soil because it helped distribute the water a little better and keeps your fly traps from getting soaked in the soil.

Zonke, one plant came out to be a really great smoke while the others with nute burn were mediocre. Those ones didnt even dry good. Overall, I learned a lot from this grow. I ended up drying the buds too much and it hurt the potentcy. TIP: If you can see your buds moving at all when you hang them to dry, that's too much wind!
