Harvest a bud or 2 early

What would happen if i harvested a bud off my plant early

Nothing really if its toward the end anyways. Just hang dry it for a few days or a week

I get the "I want smoke now" shit.. but if you must take the smaller popcorn buds... then the better tops grow to their max.... IMO...

I've thought about this more than you can image.

I've talked to many about it, I would just wait. Everyone says don't do it, it will be way better if you wait till the end.

Yes i want to try is, and this is my first grow so i can't wait and wow my first grow!

It is better to wait till the full flowering is over ,trich's change , dryd out, and cured for 2 weeks. Then it will be the best its going to be, but u can take a small sample for testing pleasures. Just dont go chopping no large cola or anything

Just took a gander and could not chop the smallest of buds and would never chop the main colas .....just looks so good but not to much smell,but sticky as can be!!

Yhea mine did the same thing. It smelled really funky around here weeks 4, 5, and 6. Now week 8 the smell has really went downward. Maybe its just what they do.

Wonderful plants!!! I would be ansi as well. This was a question I had and was talking with my brother over Thanksgiving as we smoked his NorthernLights.This was a clone he grew from a 20 yr old mother in Sacramento, he said the more he trimmed the mature , bigger buds on top the more it produced down under. So I decided to try an experiment with the Thai I am growing. I clipped all the main colas off 5 plants and left one alone....this was 3 weeks ago before I left for a business trip. I returned home yesterday and to my amazement the plants that I clipped have tripled their budsites and stem growth compered to the one I did not trim. I will be able to harvest 2 more times off these plants trimming only the more ripe buds and not cutting the whole plant down,Also we are revegging our old mothers that we cut to the base of the pot like FDD is doing.New growth is coming and I might be able to grow her again???Keep up the good work!!!I can show you some pics if you like.

yhea looks very good. though u do have a few weeks to go. try and wait another 2 weeks b4efore u sample man. patience i know that iyt suxx

i will wait , the bubbas i want to get it to regrow or something and when i harvest i will throw it on 7/24 with my clones and new seed grow!

shotty and collect..............just took these pics. I am going to go for another trim in a couple days......just picking it like an apple tree only the ripe ones when ready, I only vegged these until thet were 12" tall and have been flowering since Dec 10. They are short but still pumping out new bud sites.....you can see the difference in the 2 plants?

sweet, mine i never kept a log so i would be a guess on flower and veg but i would say in total 3 months in all===will add new pictures today just moved them around and took a few new ones
