normaly feminizing is caused by stress. there is a chemical you can use to induce female hormones although it is not guaranteed to cause your seed to fem some studies say it causes herming more. A very simple and easy way to fem your seeds is once you find a strain you like. Flower one of your girls for 2-3 weeks extra it will form a pollen sack or a set of balls take clippers and clip these balls off put them in a zip bag and take the pollen from this sack and pollenate a flower on a HEALTHY female of the same strain or cross breeed if you want and the bud you pollenated will produce female seeds. If you use this rodelization method when you pollenate a bud on your lady use one of the lower buds it will produce plenty of seeds and they are considerably smaller than your top colas which you want to save for smoke

No...you cant just make a seed female if you already have the seed in your hand.

If you only grow female plants and kill the males..you wont have to worry about seeds in your weed unless your female hermies

i read in a book by jeff ditchfield that if you put a conticeptive pill in water and desolve it then drop your seeds in there is a better chance of them becoming female... bit far fetched but he knows what he talking about... the book is called cannabis cultivator by jeffery ditchfield... great book btw.

I'm not going to say if it doe's work or not because ive not tryed it...

...i will say however that the only stuff ive herd about it is people taking the piss out of it.

e.g - if one more person makes a thread saying can i use use contraceptive pills to feminize ill fucking shoot myself.

I used to know Jeff when he ran BudBuddies and the Welsh coffeeshop, can't remember what it was called now? Hes a good guy and knows his cannabis and has done loads for the pro legalisation cause.

Personally I wouldnt bother with that tip though, but hey.who knows !

Heres another tip though..... a few years back we experimented with 12/12 from seed/germination grows and agreed that the % of females to males went up considerably on average, averaged 7/8 out of 10 as opposed to a round the 50/50 mark one might normally expect to achieve. On one occassion growing Tutti Frutti 12/12 from seed ( a Blueberry cross) I personally experienced 8 from 10 females/males.

Anyone got any thoughts/experience on this one?

I still do it with my Kush strain and rarely see a male this way.

Give it a try maybe. dont stress them; when they germinate put them in a deep container so you dont need to repot in a couple of weeks.
