yesterday i trimmed up about half of what was left. still got 3 killer queen and 1 outside grape ape. pics later.

picture update. probably the last update for these girls other than a pic of the final product. hope you guys enjoyed and will be back for another go at it. the bubbler is doing pretty well. some have taken better to it than others but they will survive. i hope to have some sturdy plants in a couple weeks while the closet sits for mites.

the latest trim has weighed in at 18 g and is in the jar. 18 plus the last 14g is 32 and still got 4 left.

thanks!! ive already finished the first 14g and it was pretty good. im thinking this latest trim will be better though, the nugs look significantly better. the bubbler is doing great and 4 of the 6 are taking off like being on steriods. im still waiting on the killer queen to finish up which may take till this friday so might get in a final picture update then. glad you stuck it out with me killer, ill make sure to send you a link to the new thread when its up!

Ya man no problem. I wanted to see what these leds would do. I'm deffinately not the type to push my beliefs or wants onto a person. If the set up works for you and your getting smokable bud I think any size grower/stoner should be excited for the other. I mean I own a 400w hid but I am not in the postion to use it at the momment for MJ so I'm growing with cfls. Accutally this has been my best crop yet. And ya am excited to see the new grow take off. You should stop by my grow journal and check out my Great White Shark, she is close to harvest time any day now.

two more down, leaving only two more standing. ive reduced down to one UFO for this last few days. as well i FIMed three in the bubbler and LSTed one. the closet is getting ready for its cleaning and stand off for a couple weeks.

I'm very excited to see the end product and hear about it. I'm in the middle of my first ever grow and have been scraping by with some CFL's, but some of them are about ready to go into flowering and I had to get more light. So I decided on the 81/9 red/blue UFO with the improved spectral wavelengths.
I was thinking about trying the 12/12 from seed method using the UFO after this grow. That should help to make up for the LED's lack of canopy penetration. Has anyone heard of this being done yet?
Anyway, really looking forward to hearing about how this grow of yours turns out. Keep up the great work little grower!

thanks. if you are thinking that 12/12 from seed will keep the plants in small size and allow for better penetration, its not going to happen. all seeds except autoflowers need to mature and they will out grow the penetration level quickly. i would suggest doing clones straight into flower, which i pretty much did with half of mine. i did like the results of the single cola. the others i had, i topped multiple times to keep an even canopy and the results were very impressive. over all the bud is good quality and smokes fine so im happy. next run will be the true test for these lights!!

Ya bro I thought doing 12/12 from seed would keep them small and what not. Deffinately not, my haze plant has been LST'd so many times it looks like a knot. I have run of out of vertical room for her. The other two strains thankfully stopped at a slightly controllable height but still. Taking fully matured clones like littlegrower was talking about will work a lot better keep them much shorter in the long run. Only thing about this is having two seperate rooms which I know some of us can't do. I'm trying to work something out to atleast have one mother plant with enough space to root atleast 6 clones. Keep the cfls in with your ufo your getting see if you can increase your canopy penatration.

the two that got trimmed last, weighed 7g and i also weighed the ww from awhile back that came in at 3g. so coming into the last trim with 14+18+7+3=42g. i am taking pics and cutting the final 2 tomorrow.

GFK, two oz is 56g each is 28g. i still got another halfer to pull if i want 2 oz. ill stop by and check out how that GWS turned out for you. hope you didnt pull her to early, i know you wanted her perfect haha!

Yay 4 LED's I am all 4 it man. I am currently experimenting with a combo of a LED panel and CFL's. Obviously ur reds are much, much brighter than my cheapy, but I like the improvements i have seen in both vegging and flowering since the UPS man brought me my panel last week. good jorb Little.

i just got finished trimming the final two! so now the grow is complete and the closet can sit for a couple weeks. ill give some pics later of the final result of each strain and a few bubbler pics for the start of the next grow.
