Scrog will have nothing to do with the length of flower time - I allowed my widows to go to about 20% amber - - and Damn.
You should have a very respectable yeild after vegging for 10 weeks. Pics?

yea put alot more pics up and you seem to only have a week left. then time to cut and cure.

Not necessarily - our friends and relatives that rely on the medicinal qualities of marijuana for pain relief typically prefer a "mostly amber" Trich color for the Couch lock stone.

yes brown trichomes have seriously degraded the thc content of the buds by loosing thc and turning them into other chemicals cbn/cbc and cbd.

CBD is responsible for the couch lock. Thats why indicas are best when trichs are amber.

This my Violater Kush 14 days in 12/12 Characteristics : comforting couch~THC Level : 22 % CBD: 1.5 %

it all depends on what stone you want and personal preference.
more thc content will give you a much better stone than any bud with degraded thc content.

I'm not sure that a amber Trich is "degraded", my impression is that it is at its ripest. Cervantes says "Resin glands change colors as they ripen. At first, glands are clear. As they continue to mature they turn a translucent milky color and, finally, they turn amber." And again, the monster Couch lock is attained when the majority of the Trich's are amber which tells me that its most potent then.
Don't get me wrong, I like a more "head" high, but sometimes the couch is very inviting.

Sativa will give you head high when its mature and indica will lay you out when mature. The high has to do with the strain not the trichomes you get higher if you let it go longer because it produces more trichomes in its final weeks.

Each strain is different some strains trichomes will never amber they will stay clear and cloudy even when fully matured. Dont look at trichomes for the type of high you want look at the hole plant watch until it looks mature.

Going off trichomes is kinda win/loose because while some say pick right when you see amber (because amber means degrading"fact") but also if the strain is producing more trichomes per day then what is turning amber its not done.

Its kinda a math game once you see 10% amber thats you sign degradation is happening faster then the plant is producing more to take their place.

Its hard to explain if you want me to in detail I will:hug:
