MG means many things to many people. There are a whole lot of products.
I just had great luck with MG Organic Garden soil. Very nice economical organic soil. Acidic, but dolomite will take care of that.
Also quite fond of MG Organic Bone Meal(6-9-0), it really does have some nice slow release nitrogen.

I would say it is great to use for vegging in pots outdoors. My girls are 6ft tall, bushy and have thick branches.

They are now flowering and looking great. I started using fox farm nutes from my hydro setup as soon as I saw some preflowers.

As it says on the bag "Feeds plants up to 3 months" it did a great job. Give it a try what do you have to lose?

I use the MG(like everyone else here)for vegging.I mix it half strength and feed once a week. For flower I switch over to Peter's Bloom Booster. I've got two girls 8 1/2 ft tall.

I've never had problems with any Miracle Grow products. A good liquid fertilizer is one that is used properly.

Kush man, I say whatever works for ya. If it was proved years down the road that rubbing a skuns asshole on a plant doubled yield, you can believe every grower would be doing and not admitting to it. Same goes with MG products.

Grapeman, I think there's plenty of mg growers on this site who are 1) experienced and 2) have grown verifiable amazing plants.

I used MG potting soil (3 month nute supply) for my first grow and am having horrible results. Accept for the vegging portion. I've been keeping a journal, tho, and I can see that the horrible results are because I didn't know what the fuck I was doing. Nothing to do with the MG.

I also switched to FoxFarms and am having great results with it, albeit I had great results with my MG grow at this same time. In other words, if you know what you're doing, you can have great results with MG.

i LOVE MG. it's perfect for seedlings. just water. i have tried everything else and still go back to MG every time. i add a little extra perlite, but i do this with everything. i use it for all my outdoor pots as well as my indoor.

I am not a hater but i have had bad experiences with the mg products but it is the only stuff that is accessible around me. I have had weed sprouts in it and the fert has burned many of my attempts at growing. Overall i would continue to use it if i could figure out how not to burn the plants with the fert. I swithched my soil to a soilless mix and i still use the fert (all purpose, tomato and bloom)not too successfully i might add. So i ask if you feel it is as good as you say then you should have no problem with explaining the fert to use and how you use it so as not to burn them. Of course, rep for anyone who can tell me the right fert (of the three) to use for what stage and how to mix it.
