I am a first time grower and need a little help here. I think it has a few days to a week left before i should chop her down. I have been looking on here and all over the internet about best time to harvest and i believe i am right but please let me know. Sorry the pics are a little blurry. And yes I accidentally broke a branch about 2 weeks ago but it has survived and looks fine. And those other buckets are tomatoes, this is the only cannabis plant i have because the other 2 were males and i already chopped them down.

there are very few white hairs left they are mostly amber/orange id say 60%. But i was reading https://www.rollitup.org/harvesting-curing/210501-zeuss-take-harvesting.html and not all the hairs are receding back but some are. Not a very high-def camera but there are alot of trics but i dont have a magnifying glass to really look at them. I will TRY to get better pics.

I do not at all agree with harvesting according to pistil color instead of trichome color but maybe the following might give you some sort of general idea of at what stage things might be.
On your first harvest, if you are having a hard time judging when to cut the plants down, a good rough guide as to when to harvest a plant is to wait until 50%-80% of the white pistils (hairs) have turned dark (usually brown or red) and about 10% of the trichomes start to turn amber.
Do not be in too much of a rush and harvest when you see the first amber trichome. It is normal for a small number of trichomes to mature several weeks prior to optimal harvest time. But when 10% or more of the trichomes are turning amber and 50%-80% of the white pistils (hairs) have turned dark, you should consider harvesting your plants.

Hey, Radio Shack has a little microscope for $13 you can use to look at the trichomes. I got one and it is very useful.

i think you are right about most people harvesting to early becuase they just dont know when its fully ripe. that is why i started this post. again, thanks everyone for all your help.
