Degrading of milky trichs

If you harvest when trichs are cloudy/ just turning amber, will the trichs amber when curing in a sealed jar? Would the maturing/ambering/degrading of the trichs when curing turn the trichs amber? If that makes sense? lol

a good question, and one that i asked
reason was i had cut a nl#5 a bit early, at least by the tric color
amber couldn't have been more than 5%, and there was plenty of clear, was wary of getting too much couch lock
so some time later, and after a month or so cure
a lot of the 'clear' trics(and probably cloudy too) were not clear any more, many had turned golden yellow
not amber, but golden yellow
i did ask around, and got a bit of feedback
a few growers mentioned seeing this in some rather potent strains
and it is strong, maybe a bit too much head rush, but that was the chance i took when i harvested

I will be in a postion to tell in the next few weeks but just wondered how it would turn out . Be interesting to hear what the experts have to say. bongsmilie

Not sure what to take from that with regard curing/maturing amber trichs. States alot of what we do know, but not much about what happens after harvesting to the trichs?

this was my experience with this question, not a lot of info on how trics change during cure

i will post up pics from my experience because i don't think you will be getting much more info

this is a picture just before harvest, some amber in the picture center, but a lot of clear

and this is from a cured bud under the same lighting, heavy on the yellow colors

So, if you do harvest slightly early, you could mature/amber the trichs during curing. Seems like another fine reason to cure :eyesmoke:
