My first grow

SWEET! It's always better to have both the 2700k and 6500k but since your in veg, having more 6500k is what you need like you have and then for flower just switch it. Of-course the more light the better tho

Yeah thats what I've gathered through the wonderful threads on RIU.

Ever since I added the nutes on friday she has grown a little bit more and she loved the nutes I gave her.:leaf:

I can't wait to put her into flower.
 
Here she is at 3 weeks and 1 day old. She is at least 6 in. tall now. Only 6 more in. to go before I flower her.
I hope my first try at growing will come to good fruition. I will start my baby with 1/2 strength nutes after this nute feed which will be 1/4 strength.

Also when I get the funds I'm gonna try and get a lowryder and grow it
 
I setup a box to veg in for now until I get my closet setup just right for flowering. Here are some pictures of it. The second picture the lights are closer than they appear.

thats awesome! I'm about a week ahead of you on my grow but not nearly as big, i wonder if i'm doing something wrong. haha!

though for the past week i had a spider mite invasion, they're gone now. i think they might've stunted its growth shortly. but i really don't know
 
in addition i've been reading up on some organic ferts. what little i've seen on molases is most folks use it only in flowering stage for about 2/3-3/4 through stopping the last 2-3 weeks before harvest. people say it makes your buds sweeter to smoke, i couldn't tell you if it does sweeten'em or not between all the bags i've bought

That sucks that you had a spidermite invasion man. Yeah I was just wondering when to use it . I just got my free sample of hydroplex. I guess it's suppose to increase my yeild. So for flowering I'm going to use the cutting edge solutions products and the hydroplex in my flowering stage.

Well I had some crucial burn to a few of my leaves. So I had to cut the tips of the leaves off. She is still going strong though. I am feeding her every other day. I feed her 1/2 strength nutes today and so far so good.

I also bought a 30w CFL from kmart. It is in the 2700k.
So for lighting in the flowering stage I will have 1x 30w 2700k+ 3x 23w 2700k + 1x 26w 6500k.


There is only 4 more inches to go before I flower my tough girl.

str8dropkid I'm not sure yet but when I flower "she'll" tell me. I keep looking to see if I can see some signs of it being a female but no luck yet.


Sgt. sly I will check out the thread after I get done with this post. I've been wanting to do a pc grow but funds are low and I don't have a spare pc tower to use.

Man i LOVE thrift stores, that's there i get my ideas for stealth grows.
