When to harvest?

I hope im not an insult to the art of cannabis growing but a friend gave me this plant, he says its afghan and from all of the pics. that I've seen it looks more like early misty to me (just from photos)and I've had it prob. 6 weeks. As far as all the technical issues to get the most of this plant is "NOT" my concern here with this one.All I'd like to know is some estimates on when to harvest from these pics. I know that how,what, and when, are important factors in determining if its ready or not....but I dont care!! I just smoke. I'll leave the growing to you dudes (im to impatient). But Im willing to take any criticism on the pics. I JUST WANNA SMOKE!!!

Dude Im tellin ya if you want good smoke you will HAVE to be patient. Id wait 1 more week , or at least till sum of your bottom leaves are yellowing or dying that is also a sign its ready to yank. Or when half your trichomes are amber .It will get even more chrystaly and let it slow dry in a dark cabinet or closet for 7 days. Then u can smoke sum and cure the rest for another week or more for dank smoke. But I did the same thing on my 1st harvest so who am I to tell ya to wait lololol. If u pull in a few days i think u will be glad u waited.

I would harvest it in one week. Wait until your trichomes are more amber to give you a more narcotic feeling couch lock high.

amber trichomes = degraded thc levels.
harvest them cloudy/milky for maximum strength and thc content.

My limited experience is give it a light squeeze between finger and thumb, if it feels a bit spongy leave for a few days when it feels nice and solid you know it's time....

Ok you're not going to like this but I dont think its ready, I dont think its even within a few weeks. You have a lot of leaf formations and tons of green. Yeah the resin coated leaves look nice but that plant is immature. I would say 4-6 weeks more. I think afghan is a good 10 week flowering strain and thats under perfect growing conditions.
You definately need a minimum 30x jewelers loupe and check the trics as close to the bud as possible.
