Even though this guy is clearly a Cromagnon; he illustrates his points simply and answers thoroughly. To me it makes sense; any moveable like parts that continually grate against each other will in fact create dust. Would think twice before buying glass on glass bongs despite the guy being a pompous prick....

LMFAO! at the worse then the shamwow guy comment. But I think the best thing we could do to this guy is not feed into his bullshit and never buy any of his shitty products and he'll eventually die down.

In my industry particles are a huge concern. Can glass particles be generated by two glass surfaces rubbing together? Hell yes. Will it cause cancer? NO. It can cause silicosis if exposure is bad enough, that in turn can become COPD.

BTW FDD, I'm sure you know glass workers are on the list for hazardous occupations as far as silicosis goes, so be careful and think about the long term. I have a bro in law that is on the lung transplant list right now because of exposure to silica that occured 30 years ago.

All that said, I would NOT be afraid to use a "glass on glass" pipe. I have no intention of grinding the fittings together as I smoke.

i find it funny how he thinks his claim "glass dust is unhealthy" is unprecedented. we all know that.yes, glass rubbing up against glass does indeed create glass dust. what im curious about tho is how does a glass on glass bong ever rub up on each other vigorously enough to create dust? ive never seen that while using one
