Pics When to stop feeding when to flush please help

Hi there..first off..thank you for looking and in advance for your feedback. I cannot express how helpful everyone has been for my first grown. Dont know what I wold do without you all! So THANK YOU!
So Im going into the 8th week now of flowering. These pics are a Inica (Big Bud) SOG under a 1K HPS. From everything I read I know the biggest mistake I can make is harvesting too early. My main question at what point do I stop feeding? Since this is my first grow I dont know how quick the plant will change and possibly be ready. So my fear is they will be ready and have just fed them and than I have to wait another few days to allow the plant to soak all the food up before the flush. How quickly will the plant start to change..or am I over thinking it all?
How far off to you think I am by looking at this pic? How many weeks before I may need to flush? How many days after feeding should you flush?
Thanks!!!

They aren't going to become suddenly ready. Best thing is to examine trichs and when they are about 20% amber, based on a sample from several locations around each plant, then flush and go to straight water. From there harvest when you choose, at 25% amber or more.

Thank you. So wait until trichs are 20% amber before I stop feeding? And wait a few days before the flush? Then 25% amber before harvest? Just want to make sure Im understanding correctly.

try to get some pics without the HPS on, it will be a little easier to judge. I usually flush about 2 weeks before I plan to harvest, and I usually harvest when most of the hairs have turned red, the trichs are cloudy and about 50 percent are amber. You can see the bud begin to have a redish hue as the trichs begin to change, and the hairs will recess into the bud. Judging by the pics, I would give it about another 2 weeks, and I would start feeding with water and molasses only from now until harvest. It also looks like your nutes are a bit strong. Some of the tips look pretty burnt.

I wish I could get some pics without the HPS on them. The issue is these plants are monsters! They vegged too long and we had to tie them up like crazy so they wouldnt get too close to the light. At this point we can move them at all. The other problem is the space..we built the room too small..its a F-show! But we are working with what we have.
When you say give it another 2 weeks..you mean give it a couple more weeks of feeding right? We just this week started watering with molasses. We are giving 1 tablespoon per gallon. Is that what you recommend? Thank you again :-P

If you said it was the 8th week with a heavy indica I would suggest just feeding it water from now on. And then when you are ready to harvest (when trichomes are ripened to your liking) stop watering it for a week or so.

Thanks! We fed her today so maybe will stop from here on out. My pistols are still mainly white so I thought another feeding was called for. When do you normally flush yours?

that is what i give my plants. roughly anyway. I use a TDS meter and adjust it depending on how far along I am. Usually start to introduce it at around 200ppm then bump it up to 500ppm or so. I've never noticed a burn with molasses, and as far as I know I don't think you can.
