I thnk he is doing a fine job and he will get my vote in 2012. All the people who voted for Obama will vote for him again...fools.
I was more diehard-Hillary, but voted for Obama. It is not anything that Obama did so far that will make my vote go elsewhere, but rather realizations I have had by reading the variety of opinion on this website.
Obama has and will continue to be a transformative figure and will likely be re-elected. I say this based on the effect of the economy on American voters, despite the fact that the economy works independent of the president, at least for the most part.
On the plus side, I received so much more money back on my taxes this year. I got a $400 'making work pay' credit and did not have the first $2,400 of my UI benefits taxed, as well as some other shit I'm sure I did not catch. Hell, I almost forgave Bush his sins after the $600 check arrived and I hated his fucking guts. With all the money Obama saved me I may get over my slight disappointment in him thus far, especially considering he has more time to go.
Just wondering.
And did you learn anything? If you had to do it over again, is there another candidate that tickled your fancy?
I was down for the man that everyone knew couldnt win, so most everyone didnt vote for him because most everyone knew he couldnt win. We all knew he couldnt win, it was all over the news everytime he was mentioned. Isnt it good we knew not to vote for the guy that could never win....sorry end-rant....
I voted for him and sadly, am dissapointed. I realize that to his credit, he has been hammered by the right on everything he has tried, but with his initial political capital, he should have forgone Bipartisanship and rolled full steam ahead on medical. Had he went for the medical bill upfront, I'm pretty sure he could have gotten a strong public option. By allowing the congress to fuck around for a year+, he has a real stinker of a bill that even may not pass. I'll either vote for him again or not vote at all, depends on what he can accomplish in the remaining months. If he loses health care, he's toast. He did promise a whole lot more than he's attempted, I wonder, did that ride on AF1 make him a slacker and just happy to be there.
Ron Paul lost the nomination and was not a candidate in the General Election.i gotta say that even though I was hardcore Ron Paul - i loved the "Yes we can" music video/song lol
you talk like something's over. 3 years, 10 months left.
Yeah, well just keep that little secret to your self - an ass load of Americans aren't thinking so right about now.He has already proven to be a better President than the last 3 repuke Presidents.

Oh, and you might consider laying off the childish name calling - it sounds pretty immature.
