I'm not sure what to diagnose it as but I think it might be nutrient def. Or heat stress. The tips of the leaves are turning yellow and drying up.it's about 10% of the plant, little bits of each leaf.im guna use ph balanced water next time it needs feeding I think. Can anyone help me by the sounds of it.any comments or help is appreciated. I'm trying to fix it before it kills the plant.

how big is it? have pics? how often and how much are you watering? what are your temps? what type of soil? you should use ph'd water EVERY time u water. what kind of lighting you have?how far away from the plant are they? whats your current ph?

I ph my water to 6.5 everytime I feed. My current soil ph is really high at 7.5, I'm using ocean Forrest soil and foxfarm nutes in a 4 in. Pot I'm watering it every 2-3 days with 100ml. Of water. The plant is 5 in. Tall sitting 24 inches under a 400w hps lite. I will post pictures in few hours for sure. I hope this helps, thanks.

what were the temps?you might want to flush your soil w/ph'ed water, 3 times as much water as their is soil. but wait on that till we see the pics and what your temps are, i'd hate to give out bad advice thinking it was one thing when its really another.

Your plants wont need any nutrients until they are at least a foot tall, so dont give them any nutes. it does sound like heat stress though, what is your ventilation like?

i dont got a thermometer or hygrometer but i would say around mid to hi 70's. and my air flow prolly should be better, im using a 18" house fan that moves left to right. i got pictures of my seedlings, but i kant get them on here. i keep being denied to, sorry. the one with the yellow was soiled 2/10/10, and the other one was soiled 2/15/10.

you need to know what your temps are, its very important, your probally underestimating the temp, hps get hot as fuck so with bad venting your temps are likely a part of the problem. do have an intake and exhaust fan too or no?

no i dont. i have a bunch of little house fans and a a/c in my room. as of now the rainy season is delaying my use of the a/c. but i think maybe if i run my a/c and a 4" house fan coming in from the bottom and one out from the top of my room. im leaving my door open to cool down the room for now. heres a picture of the poor thing. thanks for all the help bro.

looks like it topped itself, its nothing to worry about, why are all the damaged fan leaves like that? that is something to worry about, lol-edit-i

That ocean forest stuff is no good. A buddy of mine used it once and its no good for young plants, its extremely strong. You should create your own soil mixed with compost and everything, it may be the soil as mentioned wait for it to grow, it should get over it when its older.

Ocean forest is AWSOME stuff. It is too hot for most seedlings. you just gotta cut it. I use 70% ocean forest to 30% peralite or light warrior, wich ever one I have readily availible...

It looks like nute burn to me. Plus I think 400w hps is a little bit overkill on you little plant. For my seedlings I will use liquid kelp 1 tsp per gallon and mix that down to 10% mixture to 1 gallon water in a spray bottle. helps with yellowing, after about 2 weeks I use the same mixture of FF big bloom when I water. My girls love it.

i have exact the same problem with my seedlings.
its the hot soil with too much water and big pot for a small plant. roots suffocate.
dont water unless soil is real dry to the bottom of the pot. get your ph tight,no nutes and you may need to flush the pots.

okay so i been letting the soil dry out for about three days and the yellowing seemed to stop. its not on the new growth anymore, just the bottom three sets. and the branches are starting to grow. i know now not to use ff ocean forest for seedlings. or maybe just not so much, i have another plant in a taco bell cup doing just fine. does anyone know why the plant may have topped itself? im curious to know cuz ive never seen it before. i started a new journal for the first time today if you guys are interested. i will be having lots of photos, and theres some now. its called My Ken's O.G. GDP grow journal. thanks for all the info.

you didnt accidently hurt the top did you? cuz it is kinda weird.lol
no, im really careful when im around them. i try to treat them like there my babies.lol. im no scientist so i run into nutrient problems and stress due to the air or heat. but i fixed my air flow problem and heat. im not guna use nutes for a while either. i've heard of tomato and pepper plants doing this but never cannabis. im kinda excited to see what happens now.

Topped itself, are you sure you weren't really stoned and did that because i've never heard of that. I know it can happen,i've seen some stuff none has seen before, probably. Did your top totally die then break off? How do you think it topped itself? It looks healthy so I wouldn't worry about it anymore.
