Mines just started week 7, out of my 3 one is behind hairs are 90% white. The other 2 about 40-50% red/orange. Do you remember how yours looked around w7. I think I have another 2-3 weeks before harvest as you did on w7. Do you mind if I post a pic of my girls and get your advice/tips/recommendations on estimated harvest time? Im trying to determine harvest by trich but not sure if I should rely on that. What was you trichs looking like during your flush week. I want more of the head high than stoned, 80/20 trich for me!!

Thanks in3dep! I'm rather happy with the Red Dragon - amazing genetics, very exotic looking plants and some nice potent buds!! It will be tempting to get this one again it the future and keep one around for cloning - i'm regretting not taking any cuttings this time!
Please post your pics to compare - that would be great! I'm sure yours will be fine going a full 10 weeks or more..mine ended up going 11 weeks for the two and the last one will be 12 and a half weeks of flowering. I never did use a scope to check the trichs, just went by feel and general look of the plant. The one RD (Queen) really showed off with the nice dark purple leaves at the end which also filled out into the finished buds making them look really dark. This last one (Castle) is also showing some purple leaves here right near the end. I haven't watered her for over a week so her leaves are drying out and drooping alot - should be a quicker dry for this one, maybe 4-5 days hanging before going into the curing jar. I should have some more pics up after harvest tomorrow, likely during the week sometime.

Okay, this is it folks - the last red dragon plants is now chopped, trimmed and hanging to dry! She was extremely dry when I cut her, as she didn't get any water for close to two weeks straight. The leaves were mostly drooping completely down, so very little moisture was left in the plant when it came down. This plant also ended up developing some purple causing the buds to look darker in the end - tasty!
Check out the pics! Her wet weight was 85 grams but I don't think we'll loose nearly as much weight once it's finished drying as the others - time will tell!

Since the harvest was broken up into 3 seperate times (first time was the bagseed and Dreamtime, second time was the first two RD and the last time was the last RD plant...), I don't officially have a grand total for dry weight, but the first two RD plants yielded around an ounce and a half each while the last one had a wet weight of 85 grams. The last one was SO dry at the end though, that I doubt it will lose as much weight as the others did during drying (%80), so I do anticipate getting over an ounce from the last one which would bring the grand total of the RD plants to about 4 - 4.5 oz. The bagseed plant ended up being just under 1.25 ounces and the Dreamtime plant was just under 1 oz....
RD - ~4.25 oz
Dreamtime - .95 oz
bagseed - 1.20 oz

Grand total dry weight...... ~6.4 oz
....not bad for 5 plants - not awesome, but considering what we smoke, it's awesome! We'll have plenty to smoke until the next harvest - my Vanilla Kush should be ready to go in about 8-9 weeks!!!
Smoke Report:
Really, it's too soon to give an accurate smoke report since it's not really fair to judge it whilst it's still curing...but what we've sampled so far is some very potent product, uplifting and hard-hitting at first, very eye-opening and conversational...then it eases out into a nice soft stone that makes for a wonderful evening followed by a knock-out sleep! =)
Once these girls have had a few more weeks to cure, i'll post another smoke report that will be more about the taste and longevity that we're waiting to see this strain show. There's a sweet taste to it now, but it's one that you can sense is struggling to come out, which we're hoping to taste more of in the coming month...

Sweet, those nugs look really nice! They remind me a bit of the White Widow we've had...same colors and density.

yes nice growing bro im on my first grow using decent nutes an mixed with few canna nutes!! my big plant in flower is 3wk 5 days but as first time using the decent nutes not shure if big enough for age!!! any chance looking at my profile at my pics called my garden ? have a look theres a few the most recent some say 3wk5day any chance wising me up if there growing at a decent rate??? thanks brotha peace
