I got in some new seeds in today. I did that attitude deal they had earlier this month. I don't know if you've noticed but I really like to try a lot of different stuff. So here is what I got.

Hey nick have you kept on feeding with AN nutes or did ya go FF all the way. Im thinking im gonna order a bunch of marine cuisine.

Depending on how many plants you are doing, the 4 lb bag ($13.50) goes along way. I bought the 20 lb bag($60.00) and still have some left over.

Hay there NEL. How many plants could a 20 lb bag feed? I have alot of plants. They too are all planted so i wouldnt be chunking any in the hole. Just top dressing I imagine. $60.00 is reasonable and Im all about organic growing. Love the flavor.

I had only bought the spring blend of the heavy harvest so when I had used all of that is when I switched over. In about a week Im going to give all my older plants a top dressing of the marine cuisine. I actually haven't seen any problems with HH but this also my first outdoor grow and so I have nothing to compare it to. If you have all 3 HH it would be nice to see a comparison of a plant grown with that compared to the FF line so people have a better idea of the difference in growth and what not. Really the only reason I decided to switch is because I trust NeL's judgment on the subject as he has been a guerrilla grower for a number of years. On a side note here is a pretty good nute study for indoor growing. It gave me a much better understanding of nutes in general and is a good read.

Indeed Nick. I Have already dedicated 3 Purps to the cause for the AN feedings. Only i started off with scotts 10-10-10 veggy nutes. I do have the summer & fall though and I intend to use them. What the hell i got some work lined up so i can afford to drop a few hundred on nutes. Just something about the FF being derived from natural sources for the most part makes me believe that its going to be way better than the pellets or BBs of the AN HH. Peace Nick 1BMM

that it is. I used to expect about a 25% return on plants vs survivors. That was before sexing and typical loses. I'm looking at improving those odds though.

How much did you guys apply of the HH? I did 2 cups per 25 gallons of mix. So 2 cups per hole in my case. You know what's funny, the guy at my local hydro store says everyone loves it but me. But I don't trust "everyones" judgement. Maybe they just want to believe in it or have nothing to compare it to, I don't know. But what I do know is it doesn't cut it for me. My work speaks for itself. I owe my turn around last season to the way I used the FF product. I'm sure it could have worked with lots of different brands but I have FF so dialed in and I like the stuff, works for me.

Well if you topdress with 1 handfull per plant then I bet it would do a hundred. I have 40 plants at 2 handfulls per plant. I probablu could have done another dozen holes.

Thats about what i did aswell. I havent seen any results yet though. I plan on checking that patch next week. Im curious to see if the HH has made any real noticeable inhancement compared to the ones ive used scotts brand 10-10-10 herb nutes on. Im still with you guys on the FF nutes. I guess theres people who say FF aint shit too. We know otherwise.
Question Nick. How did you go about applying the HH. I read somewhere to dig a circular trench a few inches deep and 10 inches from the trunk. Fill with nutes and bury with dirt. Water or wait for rain. Seems simple. Only trhing i dont like about the digging a trench is that animals will be back digging as the ground has been disturbed. Ive been top dressing with it on my hamburger hill patch. May go for a hike and see how they are doing. Have a good one Nick.

With the HH I doubt the animals will be fucking with it. I would if I were to ever use that crap again blend it into the top 6 inches or so. Same way I re-apply the MC from FF. I hope you guys some how have great results from it. Just didn't impress me at all. Just look at the difference last season as soon as I switched back to FF products. I suppose if you liquid feed and use it it wouldn't be all that bad. But the whole point of using it is so I didnt have to frequent the patches so much.
