mighty fine looking there treeZ. have you been smoking the buds you cut off? is it good?
Thanks CD! Yea I have lol, it is some very good smoke already! Pretty much just fully dried but I wont have much to cure after tonight lol.. Its okay though because at least 2 smaller branches are ready and so am I :)

It still has a little bit of a green smell to it but when you break it up it smells very sweet on your fingers!

Ayesop! Do you by chance like Aesop Rock? He is beast haha. By the way, wonderful grow you got going there, both of you.
Question? How many total lumens do you have per sq. foot in your grow room? Both of you.
Haha. Thanks man. Yea i listen to Ayesop...i think your the first person to notice that lol. Im not sure what my lumen output is. I do know im running 150w for my 2 flower plants. About 104 watts for vegg. Maybe you can tell me the lumen output?

Thanks stoney, I was in there today looking at the trics on the wonder woman and there's definitely still a good amount of clear so that tells me she still has a while to go :) Short rider has about another week I think, its about 50/50 amber/cloudy in the lower buds and still all cloudy in the upper buds.. I'll take a few more lower branches from her tomorrow before I water!!

My kandy kush is the closest in age to yours and I have three more that are a little older different random strains.. I must say those look very healthy stoney!! They look about right as far as the growth, How long do you plan to veg them for? What size pots? Are you topping them or anything?
I'm gonna veg them for a very long time. they will be the moms that i will fim and top to provide many many clones for the future... they are in 3" cups now.. i will be transferring them into 3 gallon pots on a week or two. once my flowering plants are done( a week or two) I have a great looking blueberry mom to go under the 12/12. For all those rehab experts that say you can't be addicted to MJ never grew it!! hahaha I'm hooked for life on this hobby

Looking fine Smelly. Check out those smaller fan leaves. They got crystals all the way to the tip! I'd say another week will do you good.

I was given a young blueberry clone from a friend, I FIM'd it at about the 5th node. then I left it grow about 8 branches up, then when they got long enough for clones, I cut the top of those branches. Then 4 more came out of each one of those... and so on.... after taking a couple dozen clones the thing is now a blueberry bush! 'm not sure how the other strains will relate to that but the sativa I'm growing loves to get cut... It's almost sadistic the way it bounces back from being cut..

I'm going to FIM the tops of my young ones on the 5th node.

+ rep, thats what I'm going to do! I'll take a couple clones off the top at a time until its ready to produce like 8 main colas :) Hopefully ending up with something to keep it going!

Wow two weeks already? I didn't know you used rockwool. So after it germs you bury it in soil?

Well it depends on the bulbs and how many lumens they produce. I am using 125w CFL from Hydrofarm. It it recommended that a grow room should have at least 1000-3000 lumens per square foot.

My light has a lumen output of 8500, as shown here http://homeharvest.com/hydrofarmcompactfluorescents.htm

Since i am only running one plant, that seems plenty to me until i can afford a 400W HPS.

As for you, i, guessing you have a bit more than me, but i could be wrong. What type of bulbs are they?

All I know for sure is at the Equator at high noon the sun puts out 10000 lumens per sq ft.
Nowhere else does the sun equal that amount of lumens. Most think
that this happens everywhere but it's not true at all.
So it's not necessary to go that much so I'd guess
some where around 6000 to 8000 would be more than sufficient.

Yes sir, well once it pops a few roots out the bottom I bury it in soil.. I've done it just in soil too and it seems to work well, I just didn't want to take a chance with the ffof possibly being to hot for a seedling so I let it get a little bit of growth in the rockwool.. I did the wonder woman like this and so far 100% germ and growth on both!!

Thats some good shit CS, I never knew that!!

Here's a chart that can help you get an idea of your lumens per watt.. You can also see the further away a cfl, the less effective it is.

I'm probably more around 18,000 lumens but thats with breaking a bulb..

So you don't have any 6500k or daylight cfl's mixed in? That will be interesting because I have like 50watts of 5500k cfl's mixed in, I'm wondering if there will be any difference having the mixed spectrum..
