Some of the "richest" people I know subscribe to self reliance, voluntary charitable actions and respect for another persons right
to achieve wealth or not. We aren't all blessed with the same physical, mental or birth advantages, get over it.

The idea that a person MUST contribute to anothers well being under the threat of government force advances extortion and runs from peaceful and voluntary interactions. I started with less than nothing, made a good deal of money by the sweat of my brow and dedicated a good deal of my life to helping others with this caveat : If they agreed to help themselves and others by passing it on, not because somebody made me do it, because I CHOSE to do it

Fuck forced redistribution, it is a crutch and is wrong. Nowadays I live on less than the poverty line and have everything I need except the freedom to be left alone, which is THE most important thing a person can have.

Whining about what we don't have is time that could be spent working in a peaceful way to achieve what YOU want.

Self respect is lost when we expect others to meet our needs for us or the government to steal from somebody on our behalf.

Well said :) + Rep

I would much rather be left alone than have piles of cash :))

If anyone actulay stops to think about it ... Money is one of the most clever scams ever created .... its a massive trap that can be broken free from if you have the right amount of motivation .

Lets face it ...money is not working .....the bankers have us all in pocket and are doing all they can to keep us there ... but the system is heading for a massive fail ....when it does ....and it will .....People will know the true meaning of being free and happy :)

I know this movie will upset some... But lets just overlook the content of the whole movie and focus on the money part ?

I helped me understand a very ( well crafted ) confusing topic ....It's made to be complicated to stop us understanding the process ..

Hope it helps someone :)

Money is just a game that we all agree to play. The reality is cash means nothing. Absolutely nothing. Just paper. Its value is only there if we all agree that there's value.

It's scary, but its true. It is just a game.

You walk into a bank & on the screen it says you have millions. True or not.. it becomes true. Simply because the screen says so..

depending on where you work i would advise AGAINST using the work computer to go on rollitup.org.

this site has been labeled as NOT SUITABLE FOR WORK by several big companies.... the network admin could, in theory, report that your worstation is reporting long hours of surfing a website dedicated to discussing marijuana growing techniques...

and you cn kiss that beautiful job goodbye....

LAugh.. If you knew how our company ran you would understand why I laughed.

We are essentially a family run business that does perhaps 30-40 mil a year. Our owners don't even own computers. They are old school construction guys. No email. fax machines & cell phones. their philosophy is if you want to communicate with me you reach me on the phone or in person.

To be honest, its a GREAT place to work. Its large enough to have all the corporate bling & perks but still owned & operated by the brothers who have no idea what I do for them (literally) They run their part & I run the other. we have in the office maybe 6-8 people here.

I swaer they would make an additional mill a year if they brought in someone to actually act as a controller. we are certainly at that point in size & sales. But they are happy with being able to buy what ever they want & have staff to do what ever is needed to be done. They vacation perhaps 4-9 times per year so their seldom around. We all still do what we need to do, we make em a ton of money & they treat us very well.

But yes.. we all do waste a HUGE amount of time but as long as we're still making them a couple milskie a year their happy.. :)

thats where the frustration on my part comes in sometimes. even with all the fucking around we do (& there is a LOT!! I spend $600 on lunch one day at Morton's Steak house laugh) we still make them more than they can manage to spend in a year. Fuck, we spent more on a golf game than I could sending all my kids to college For such a small company (staff wise) our bar tab for our Christmas party was over $3000. We went out to dinner in Quebec (3 of us) Bar tab with dinner.. $1340.00!! One year of private school that the one kid goes to would pay tuition for University for all my kids for 4 years.

Sad sometimes.. I mean its more fun that should be allowed.. but there are many times I wish it was a little more serious around here.. Instead of wasting as we do lets all take much larger salaries.. but then it wouldn't be as much fun I guess. Our idea around here is if your not having fun 95% of the time do not come to work. That's right in the orientation materials..

People are going to read this & not understand why it could be frustrating to work here sometimes... geesh.

If you don't think the opportunity is there then move somewhere it is greater.
And conversly, if you think you are being picked on and are paying way too many taxes to help the poor, just move to a taxless country. Like say Nigeria, or Pangeire, maybe wonderland. It's obvious that you are a little immature, no matter your age.

You see, If I were your boss and knew what the fuck you were doing, I'd certainly put a stop to it and you'd be on unemployment. I'd use all that money you burn through to brag about to actually send some of my employees kids and maybe a few more to college, maybe get that comtroller that would make me an extra "MIL" a year, and get rid of a couple a more slackers and use that mil and those slackers wages to set up a scholarship fund or some other use besides spoiling your slacker ass. I'm pretty sure you're lying anyway, but, if not, you should be ashamed of your selfish childish ways, and start earning your keep and banking some cash.

Well money is certainly a tool, and just like tools, if you don't have enough of them, you really can't get the job done. Tell a person with no money to just buck up because money doesn't matter anyway. Tell that person that hasn't eaten in days that that couple a bucks to buy some food really doesn't matter, just be happy. Me thinks you are delusional. It is basic psychology that a person needs certain parameters before happiness can be obtained, basically they are adequate shelter, clothing, food, and companinship. Three out of four require money.

Immature...please. How does the saying go? Show me a young conservative and I'll show you someone with no heart...show me an old liberal and I'll show you someone with no brain.

The top 20% of income earners ($100,000 +) pay over 70% of all income taxes. In case you didn't know there are these things called tax brackets. The more you make, the greater of a percentage you pay. What is your proposal? Raise taxes in downtrodden economy? Raise them until there are just elites and the rest of us? Where do you want to squeeze these $, so that in your fantasy land it has a DIRECT impact on the poor?

You call me immature, but you want complete subsidization. We are an advanced species, but we still are and always will be subject to the laws of nature. There will always be those that are weak, lazy or just really unfortunate. Get your commie shit outta here.

So, Just how old are you? Have you had your ass kicked yet? Have you had to work for minimum wage? Or, Have you been rolling with the proverbial silver spoon? BTW, I never said I didn't believe someone should not have to work for their supper. I worked all my life, starting from about 9 on a dairy farm, you know, up at 4AM, bring in the herd, feed them wash the bags, let them out and then get the wheel barrow and clean up the shit and haul it up a ramp and dump it, then get a washcloth and some stove heated water and clean up for school get dressed, walk 1/2 mile to the bus stop, go to school, reverse directions get home and do the cow thing all over again, then we had all the other chores, on a farm the work is never done, Left home at 15 got a job in a lime plant, did the draft thing, Viet Nam, and never quit working untill I retired 7 years ago. So, I am no slacker and have no pity for slackers. We just need to even the playing field a bit.

Well if thats the way you feel about it, then just make the rich pay 20% of the tax burden instead of the 70% they pay now. I mean if you are all for fair and equitable that is.
Well that's pretty crazy and I guess coming from you, expected. I gotta ask, why are you all for the rich when you "say" you make less than 35K? Are you lying or just stupid? I can not figure people that vote against their own best interest. Voting for rich people to pay less does you not one bit of good, unless you have some rich relatives and are expecting some inheritance or some other pertinent reason, otherwise, by common sense, you're crazy. And BTW, the rich have been winning the money game in leaps and bounds while unemployment and poverty are reaching new heights, feeling sorry for the rich is totally insane.

It's good that you talk compassion for people that aren't doing well, do you volunteer your time to help them?

In your model, leveling the playing field seems to mean forcible redistribution of wealth, which you seem to be okay with. "Wealth" is relative. To a very poor person. you probably live like a king and are wealthy.

What moral reasons can you give for authorizing a 3rd party to redistribute goods or money? If you believe in redistribution and a poor family needs a car, would you be okay if somebody forcibly took one of your vehicles, assuming you had more than one, and gave it to the family without any vehicle ? How about a 3rd party goes into your well stocked freezer in your basement and redistributes some of the food, that they determine you have an excess of? How many pairs of shoes do you have ? Coin collection gathering dust? Ante up. That could never happen here you say? Really?...didn't FDR call in all the privately held gold back in the 1930s?

I just blew Mt. Dew threw my nose i laughed so hard. It is really wierd the way libs talk about equality, it seems that what they mean is exactly the opposite. Equality does not mean "fixing the game". Libs seem to think that is exactly what it means. Picking the winners and losers.
