Nuclear energy is about the cleanest energy source there is! If we would allow more of them to be built (instead of the old ones currently running) we would be way better off as a country! Those who say it isn't have no clue what they are talking about and those who make up percentages with no real data to back it up are just as bad (99% nature proof). This is why as a species we will never evolve! Some people still bowing their heads and praying to some deity and the other too stupid to understand technology so they say it's bad.

It's true, most of us are laid back. However, sometimes people just say the dumbest things (wether they believe them or to just be a troll) that it hurts the brain that there are people like that out there. Besides, who knows if your words are read by someone and maybe make them think and do a little research to find out the truth.
