How do you take clones from a vegging female when while she is vegging you don't know her sex?
Hey has anyone ever seen this rollitup penguin before???? wtf?Widow is right, the best way to do it is to take clones from the plants you have (remember to label corresponding clones to mothers) put them in a clone room and flower them, this way you don't loose any time when reverting.
i've done this too. my current flowering crop started flowering as they were on my windowsill during the winter when young. the girls popped out a few hairs. i didn't let them see dark again until flowering. the new growth after being on 24 hour light didn't have hairs. i think you can put plants into flowering to see sex if you are quick to put them back under constant daylight.cant you just flower it and revert the clones and mother into veg by just switching the light cycle back? or will this increase the chance of herms?

there should be some natural adaptation for this. these are tropical plants who could naturally germinate in February or March with under 12 hours of daylights. they would have to be able to adapt when spring starts and they have 12 hours of light until the fall.
