yes, afterwards i do make a tiny cut in the bottom of the stem, as I place them one by one in water. Then I dip for 30 seconds, put into soil & then press soil from sides firmly around it (sort of like pinching the soil around it) for good contact. 100% success

the bottom is the best place to take clones from, faster rooting and less energy/time taken from the plant you cut it from.
is it true to make the split in the bottom of the stem up to a node?
i heard it makes it easier to grow cause the split is where an old node was?

I have had better results cutting from the top. Remember to flush a day before cutting.
