How often do I flush?

I'm growing DWC. 5 gal bucket, air stone at the bottom, 6" net bucket lids, complete Fox Farm nutes for hydro. I'm used to growing soil, I would flush the soil a few times during the grow.

Its entirely up to you. I only flush before harvest for 14 days. I know some people flush before they enter bloom to get rid of some salts but I dont. Just a good 7 day flush with a flushing agent like Florakleen or Final Phase , then another 7 days with just plain PH R/O water.

yeah, it's entirely a personal choice.
I've went an entire grow without changing res once, and bud was great. didn't give a headache like some people say it will if you don't flush.
plus I use miracle grow, and people say you can taste it and all kinds of crazy shit but I use it and didn't flush and couldn't taste anything or no headaches lol even when smokin straight off the plant after harvest.
This current grow I am choosing to flush so I'm not adding any nutes just plain water for the past 2 weeks.
Some people do a complete res change before flushing, but I didn't.
lol I'm a lazy grower and it still does it's thing

i change my rez once a week. unless im running a sub but im not right now.
still may get good herb, but why not just change your rez for better bud..
it takes 5 min. maybe 10, because ph and ppms
but still, to me it far worth it. imo

I change my res too but his question was about flushing not just changing your res.

I used GH waterfarm. dwc buckets... I would flush them before every time I would change the rez. It was as easy as pouring fresh water through the medium (at least a gallon per bucket) and draining it immediately. I now use a drip system with hydroton and I flush every week after draining the nutes out. I put 3 gallons of r.o. water through each of the sites. It is truly amazing the amount of excess salts and nutes that are trapped in there. It gives me peace of mind to know that I won't have to deal with bacterial infections, pH fluctuations, or really high ppm. Every time I flush, they DEFINITELY look happier. Like pwizzle said it is personal preference.
As far as the final flush goes, I use AN's final phase about 10 days prior to harvest and one more time 5 days away from harvest to make SURE i get all that shit out of there. Makes for very smooth smoke... Hope this helps bro!!!

General Hydroponics nutes are heavy in salt. What you are doing is rinsing roots.

well if its pee you dont really have too but if its poo you probly should flush every time...my dogs drink out of the toilet so i have to every time..... i hope this helps

the waterfarm is general hydros 8 module ebb and grow dwc bucket system. im not using gh nutes....
