Floro Light Questions: Pics + Rep Need Help Asap

hey we have 6 flourescent lights, 4 footers, in a 4x4x4 box, they are regular shop bulbs for now, our queestion is how long will these be adequite. can i vegg and flower under them? and if so how many would thrive under these lights. they will be lowerd to within inches of the tops. need help asap
adding more floro's soon, cant afford hps so please dont suggst it.

yes you can ceg and flower under them but the yield will be minimal unless you can really up the wattage
6500k for veg
2700k for flower

get both kind of bulbs for best results, if you cant afford full sets of both, go half and half

and keep the lights as close as you can without burning them, about 2-4 inches for tubes

you have enough light there in my opinion for about 8 small plants, like 1 months veg and then into flower, too big and youll never get light penetration to the lower level branches

Flouros will work for the veg part (they only are really efficient for about a foot of growth) Whatever you do get those flouros down on top of your plants,keep em as low as you can without letting the leaf touch the light. You can veg for about 2 months,but to flower get a real light as all you will end up with is shwag.....never really tightens up,sure you get crystal but the green will be crap!

just FYI those look like T-12 shop lights

t-12 = dimmest
t8 = medium
t5 = smallest and brightest

since those are lights u prolly had laying around and dont want to buy anything new those will grow a very small plant but it will be healthy and lush if u get those correct color bulbs. just small.

a pure indica SOG would be best 4 u

yeah they were lyin around, its for a friend who just wants to try his hand at an indoor run, hes not a smoker, just wants to make a few bucks. like said going to get t5's and make 3 walls of light along with the 20 or so cfl bulbls he now has hanging in there. i think he has more "light" output than i do with my 400, but the lumens arent there.
he'd be happy to get 4 zips out of it. i told him to just vegg inder there for a bit before putting them outside. he lives in the woods, but has porblems with rouges. only reason he even wants to try is because i showed him some of what i grew indoors. dunno. basically just hoping for the best.
plans on vegging alot in there and pick the best 4 females to flower tinit. i think he should just use it as a mother box but u cant deter someone from the ideas they already have set.
