Cheapest, simplest, hydroponic system possable?

DWC google it or youtube it!

or use the crappy search engine RIU has. There are plenty of growers that use Deep Water Culture

You COULD, but you would need to black it out and create a sturdy raft for the netpots to sit in...

Okay, what if i blacked it out with electrical tape and used some kind of small table made of screen to put underwater for the plants to sit on.

Sure, I kinda like that idea, as long as it' sturdy I suppose the roots could grow right through the screen...Alternatively you could get a cheap pool paddle board, and cut holes in it for the netpots, and float it on the surface of the water

Ok, so i could grow some dro... in an aquarium?
Basically lol, There are plenty of things to consider when doing a DWC though. It may be cheap but if you intend on doing big plants, they tend to drink a lot of solution so you find your self adding nutes and adjusting ppm and ph often. Smaller plants don't demand as much but bigger plants are more yield. I'm doing DWC right now and am considering adding a separate res for a recirculating DWC so the nute level stays at the right height and is much easier to add solution. I don't know the specifics on a NFT but I'm pretty sure it fixes this problem as well with a separate res. but you have to pay more for the pumps etc.

Thats a good idea, im definantly going to look into this, i currently only grow with soil, but i know for a fact you get better bud off hydroponics :joint:

nft 1 pump on a gutter system.

a net from a hydro shop placed in a 5 gal bucket with a lid. (cut a hole in the 5 gal lid to fit ur size net) get a 10$ fountain pump( walmart or h depot) and hose to fit, run hose up to net and figure it out from there w google

Man if you could get to the hydro store those net pots that clip onto the tops of the 5 gal buckets are cheap. I know people who don't even use a medium in them, just cover to block light.

Ok, what nutrients do you suggest, price is not an issue here.

AirPump? Rated for how many gallons or literes/min?

I have no idea, i used to have an aquarium with fish in it, and i have a pump. All that i know is i lost a few fish with that pump... is has a tube that sucks the water in, put through a filter and puts it back out in a waterfallish way. I could take the filter out if needed.

Oh, a powerhead? No, remove that and just go to walmart or something and get the biggest air pump they have in the pet section, some airline tubing and an airstone or two...
